Sony Launch PlayStation 4 Priority Service

Prior to the launch of the PlayStation Vita, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) launched the Inside PSVita service; a mailing list that has proven to be very useful in the delivery of news and special offers to PlayStation Vita fans. Now, SCEE has brought a brand new service to their audience, specifically for PlayStation 4. (Culture, PS4, Sony)

Did you bother to read the article?

"It’s currently being billed as an opportunity to ‘Be first to know about PS4’. Completing the registration process simply takes you to the user acquisition page at present, offering automated thanks for the registration and links to videos about the console.

However, judging by the success of the Inside PSVita programme it’s likely to become a service worth being a part of.

Further details and the option to register are available now at http://pages.playstationmai... and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on the forthcoming PlayStation 4 console."

Sony hasn't release any news yet. I figure this is bad news for the system I'm afraid.

Sorry darth. It's seems to be working fine atm for me?

it must have been the copy and paste. If people read the article (why they dont is ????) the link provided from within that page works.

i tried to paste the link and the system thought it was spam. its all good now madden.

@minimox...thats the one that work for me now.

Got this yesterday. You click the link in the email and see this on the pages.playstationmail.net site:

Sign Up for Updates
Simply sign up to be the first to know about PS4 and we’ll keep you up to date about the latest news and videos on PlayStation®4 as well as exclusive content and offers.

Then upon clicking:

"Thank you for signing up
Catch the latest PS4 videos - including game trailers, TV adverts, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage - on the official PlayStation YouTube channel."

With links to the YT channel, playstation.com/ps4 and twitter. Interesting thing was I hadn't looked at the ps4 site for a while and there were some games added I didn't know much about at all.

I got this in my email this morning.

I thought it was the same one they did back in february.

I will look at it again.

So is this sounds like just a newsletter more or less...am I missing something? Not understanding the "service" part.

Noticed that pre-orders in UK after 6th August are not guaranteed to receive PS4 on launch date.

Glad I ordered 2nd June!
