A petition for Valve to add subtitles to Steam has appeared, and is gaining momentum.
Valve has just rolled out fresh guidelines for Steam season passes (DLC) to help prevent gamers from being misled! It's interesting to see that the company views season passes in a similar way to pre-purchases, which means they’re subject to many of the same rules and considerations.
Valve nearly went bankrupt before launching Half-Life 2 and Steam due to a legal battle with Vivendi, but was saved by a summer intern.
So where is Andrew now, is he still with the company. Did he get a promotion or still a bottom rung employee. Was there a pay bump for Andrew, or any kind of compensation besides “good job, Andrew.”?
The white and grey Steam Deck will be available in limited quantites.
Australian launch ? I have one already and I'm in Australia, I know of 5 other people with one, we got them at a normal retail store........ I'm confused 😕 I guess we got ours super early even though they are available right now in a few shops here.... I even have 3 in stock at my own shop .....
Like they will add it. There are so much stuff they should update but they dont.
Finally a petition worth signing. I LOVE video games and can't fathom something so simple isn't already in place to help people circumvent a handicap; same goes for color blindness. Always sad to see when the bottom line is more important than doing the right thing.
Sounds like a good cause. Signed. Hope steam adds the ability. Everyone should be able to experience games in some form, regardless of disability.
I wish that all developers would add in a colorblind option.
I've struggled with it in many games, BF series is terrible I can not tell between the Team colors, Orange for Friendly vs Red for Enemy. Makes it real tough, but I think it makes me play better.
I think this petition makes sense considering to some people it is required and not that it is required for me to buy a game I always turn on subtitles.
