When the original critically acclaimed Painkiller hit PCs in 2004 it was welcomed with open arms. It was a refreshing and nostalgic throwback to simpler times in a genre that found itself becoming increasingly cinematic and to many PC veterans – unnecessarily complex.
Now, almost ten years on from Painkiller’s release, saying that the genre has changed a bit would be a rather large understatement. For anyone emerging from a cryogenic nap – the PC is no longer widely considered the reigning king of FPS games and now linear, modern military console shooters rule the roost.
Nordic Games clearly heard the voice of the many disgruntled old school PC gamers out there and at the end of last year released Painkiller Hell & Damnation exclusively for PC..'
Painkiller: Hell & Damnation launched 10 years ago today, and offered a hell of a good time for chaotic FPS fans.
XBA says: MX vs ATV Supercross Encore plays out more like You vs Controls Super Frustration.

“It’s been a few years since the release of Darksiders II and that growing community remains very active – very hungry –for what will come next. THQ Nordic very much looks forward to satiating gamers’ appetites in the months and years to come.” said the now rebranded publisher in a recent press release.
They confirmed Darksiders 3 years ago. Well in as much as they've said they wanted to make it. Then hired as much of the original talent as possible. founded a studio in america to house them all and then re-released the previous 2 games in the series to help fund it. I mean, how much more evidence do you want?
This is pretty cool having the THQ name back out there, albeit, in a faint capacity.
They need to fix ps3 darksiders 2 online trophy so people can actually platinum the game. Morons put a online trophy in a single player game.
