First look at Sega's Dream Raiders

The first footage of Sega's new arcade IP Dream Raiders has been unveiled.

It's a fantasy rail shooter - developed by the UK-based Sega Amusements R&D on RingWide hardware - which casts one or two players in various dream scenarios, blasting enemies and collecting treasures.

Some of the stages shown off in the one and half minute video include a Wild West adventure on horseback, a high speed chase through a futuristic city and an outer space meteor storm.

It's played on a garish, neon green arcade cabinet featuring wind feedback and a moving seat, as Sega explains: "The combination of intense motion, wind, sound and visuals combine to give players everything they ever dreamed of!"

The game was previously the subject of Sega's R&D Spycam teasers on Facebook and Twitter.
