What can Namco do with Super Smash Bros.?

GameZone writes, "With Sakurai at the helm, we have full confidence that Super Smash Bros. on the Wii U and 3DS will live up to previous chapters of the series, as he’s obviously guiding his team at Namco Bandai down the right path. But let’s hope that cross-play and some fresh ideas are taken into consideration to make this the best entry in the series to date. The fans certainly deserve it, especially seeing how Brawl turned out to be so awesome. Step up and knock it out of the park, guys."

Nice read.

Namco could bring a lot to the Smash Bros' table. Hopefully they will start with improving online multiplayer.

Online is a major thing that namco can bring. namco is always hailed for superb online. so i expect the online to be fantastic.

They can only do two things.
-Screw it up
or
-Make it a success like the previous SSB titles.

add a little more depth to the core combat mechanics and i'd be pretty happy. the game is fun yes, but doesnt have too much of a move list and there are alot of characters that feel similar. I understand its supposed to be simple but i still want some depth in there.

that and well Kos-mos being in the game would make it an insta buy for me

Smash 64 and Melee have depth. Regardless of the simplicity.

Learn to play? lawl.

brawl didn't thats probabl what she is referring to. brawl was simplified for noobs unlike SSB & SSBM

You didnt play it enough, then...

not enough of a move list? you do know that by only using the A button and the analog stick, you have 12 moves, then some more depending on your position in the air, that is only the A button. as for core mehanics, you probbaly just did not play correctly unless you not consider wave dashing, L cancelling, short hopping, fast falling, edge hogging, chain grabs, shield reflecting, and DI, and air dodging core mechanics? you have to know how to use your character correctly. people who are really good can play as metaknight, and only touch the ground for 20 seconds of the game. Each character has a special set of moves that are used at the best times in the best situations. It is far, far from a simple game if you can actually play the intended way. just look up a guy on youtube called aizea( i forget how to spell it) he beat 3 level 9 with full handicap(team match so it was him vs all of them) and did not lose a single life, or get hit once. That is deep playing.

I've never heard of Kos-mos. I shall use the power of google to find out why I have never heard of Kos-mos.
