Following the debut teaser, Lexis Numérique and Orange have revealed a brand new trailer for the forthcoming Alt-Minds, revealing much more about the ways in which the player can interact with the universe. Alt-Minds will be playable across PC, social media, smartphone and tablet devices, with a range of different activities available on each format collating together into a single experience.
Alt-minds has launched today for PC/Mac and tablets. A unique transmedia project incorporating TV, videogame, and internet, as the player you can choose your level of engagement and interactivity, as you track down missing scientists. Over the coming weeks the plot will unfold and the more types of media you use, the more you will discover.

AG: One of the more fascinating games discussed at the recent gamescom in Cologne was a 'transmedia' concept explained by Djamil Kemal from Lexis Numérique, who in cooperation with telecom provider Orange are developing a multimedia mystery experience called Alt-Minds. Never one for traditional adventures, the French developer has returned to the basic idea behind In Memoriam: communicating with game characters in real time and finding websites that are connected to a mystery, with multiple layers of depth adding to the experience.
