Cloud Imperium Games’ Technical Designer and resident CryEngine expert Dan Tracy explains the technology behind the stunning Origin M-50, which is the latest ship released for the game and an agile racer.
Land on any planet in Star Citizen currently and you’ll be greeted by things like weather patterns, flora, and very possibly a derelict or two. What you won’t find are any animals, however. That’s going to change with alpha 3.23’s release, as CIG has finally put together two animals to populate certain planets. That’s not quite three, but it’s more than one!
Two brand-new animals? Fantastic. This game should be ready by the time the Vault Dwellers come out from their Vaults Two Hundred years after the Apocalypse.
Any minute now...
I really need to know when funding passes XX billion dollars. Please bless us with that update.
Today Cloud Imperium Games released new videos focusing on the upcoming major update for the growing space game Star Citizen.
Star Citizen will soon get a rather impressive character customization feature in alpha 3.23, but it's limited to the head. Yet, developers also want to implement body customization in the future.
Well I guess they couldn't have done so within the last two decades working on the game so probably it'll take another two decades
Visual damage saving over time is a real highlight for me, as it'll surely showcase the vets from the newbs in the game.
Does it blend?
Whats the average games texture res?
Video footage looked supremely gorgeous.
The level of detail is amazing.
Was even thinking this could have been one of those actual production talks/meetings about what to expect when travelling with this new rocket jet airship in a debris ridden space.
I might just invest in a gaming PC so I can play this game. Looking forward to seeing more.
