When Eight Days first revealed I was like oh shit, those graphics, now im lookin Sat it now im like heh graphics are terrible. .I really hope this game find its way on PS4.

AngelicIceDiamond3583d ago

@PSNews I hope you realize what they showed back then it was probably Alpha build.

If you look back now it looks meh but that vid is from 2006. I think it holds up ok for what they were trying to accomplish. Even the destruction physics still look great.

Though the biggest drawback of the trailer is it looks on rails. Half of what was happening were set ups or lead ins to the next scenario.

Ultimately, I hope it gets released on PS4.

Godmars2903582d ago

Still, if it were made by today's specs, something like Eight Days would be incredible.

In fact, what's suggested in its target trailers are things which don't have comparable current examples. Not good ones anyway.

hkgamer3582d ago

it was kind of like opposite for me. when i saw the reveal ii thought it just looked kinda wierd. everything just looked to shiny.

then i saw the gameplay that wa shown after the game was cancelled and thought, why couldnt they release this game? what happened.

i mean the animations looked comparable to uncharted.

go youtube the released footage for actual gameplay. looked quite cool.

SilentNegotiator3582d ago (Edited 3582d ago )

Eight days wasn't very far into development. It wasn't much more than an interesting trailer and some cover mechanics. There's really no reason to keep hoping for it.

I agree, i would rather have the cancelled "The Getaway" game sony cancelled while back. And the New legacy of kain game that was cancelled shouldv'e been on the list, we instead get that crap nosgoth game instead.

MWong3581d ago (Edited 3581d ago )

When I saw; Star Wars 1313, 8Days and Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned, I was hyped. Sadly, they all never came out. I think I was more disappointed with Star Wars, because that game looked like a beast.

Lionhead's B.C.

Wanted this more than Fable. I wish this game could of seem the light of day.

jwhite333582d ago

Pretty sure B.C. was WAY ahead of its time. Fable can suck it. Molyneaux needs to think about coming back to this game. Such an amazing premise.

SilentNegotiator3582d ago

I think there are a couple of games like it for early access and others trying to get greenlit on Steam...whether any of them are any good or if the developers will ever actually finish them, IDK.

nunley333581d ago

Would like that and the new Legacy of Kain game that SE cancelled should be on the list. and Fear Effect 3

matt1393581d ago

technically it's been 'put on hold' w/e that means :P

AngelicIceDiamond3583d ago

After how Elder Scrolls Online turned out I dunno how I feel about Fall Out Online.

Rimeskeem3583d ago

If they make it need a payed subscription.....

Summons753582d ago

ESO is awesome and has a great community sooooo Fallout online would be great too.

WeAreLegion3582d ago

Try Fallen Earth. Post-apocalyptic MMO. Probably the best one out there.

robtion3582d ago

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is currently in development supposedly.

PSNews3583d ago

Agents should have be on that list

christian hour3582d ago

Agent was never cancelled so it wouldnt make sense to be on this list ;)

"In July 2013, Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two Interactive, renewed its trademarks of the "Agent" brand."

It aint dead until they say it's dead :)

nunley333581d ago

That reminds me of another game sony cancelled while back that looked cool, called the Agency.

e-p-ayeaH3581d ago

lmao yeah sony is king on empty promisses.

modesign3581d ago

you know sony has close to 20 studios, so theyre not DESPERATE for 3rd party exclusives, sony should of kept the getaway instead of dragging on AGENT,

Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell Of Ar Ciel Retro Review – Love Conquers All

Gary Green said: You’ll be forgiven if you haven’t heard of the Ar Tonelico trilogy. The previous two games arrived so late in the PS2’s life-cycle that they simply went unnoticed. While most were tinkering with their shiny new PS3s, Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia and Ar Tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica were being ‘returned to sender’ by your local Game stores. Luckily, you won’t need to have played them to understand and appreciate this third and final chapter, Qoga (pronounced k-yoga) tells the story of a racial war between humans and Reyvateils, a breed of biologically produced female cyborgs capable of reproduction, while still having a digital mind.

Oh my god. I kinda wish this would get a remaster on PS5, it would be awesome. One of my favorite games on PS3.

That and 3D Dot Game Heroes. It's a shame that some stuff is stuck on PS3.

Knightofelemia2h ago

Ar Tonelico 3 is good I still prefer the first AT game. The music is solid in all the games and Akiko Shikata is a very talented singer bringing life to the game. Only annoying part is well I find is Saki I always choose Finnel or Tyria. KOEI so needs to HD remaster the franchise along with Ar Nosurge and Ciel Nosurge since it never came to North America. I would day one the Ar Toneliceo games and Ar Nosurge if they were remastered.

I still have the limited edition of Qoga unopened. Unfortunately it never went up in value like I had hoped all these years.
