Xbox One Should Always Be Sitting Horizontally

The original PS2 is probably the only console that has ever been pictured with a stand implying that it's OK to put it upright. It was a bit of a gimmick to make it stand tall and proud. No other consoles has been specifically designed or officially pictured to be stood up.

You're right about consoles being able to be stood vertically I have now found. I just would never do it.
Maybe you could not shout orders at people though - unless you want them all to be 'silent' in their thoughts.

Not a problem for PS4, it has gyroscopes and cant be knocked over, and IF they fail (they wont, its Sony for gosh sakes) there is an airbag to let it down gently......plus, if need be, it can hover I think.

This is all a lie. My PS4's airbag failed and the console tipped over. This means that there is a rampant problem among all PS4's.

I think you guys got the old model, mine comes with rocket boosters that effectively stops my ps4 from falling. I heard they were having problems with the factory that made the airbags.

The xbox1 is too big to be designed only to sit horizontally. That is such an inconvenience for some people. There really is no excuse for it, microsoft should have used a more versatile drive.

IMHO, it is better for both consoles to be horizontal because it is safer. If it is standing up, there is the possibility of it to fall and break (unless you have it up on carpet or something), but I will admit I do not know many people who have their console vertically.

To be honest with you. I had my PS2 vertical the entire generation with no issues, and the same with my PS3. Its convenient for me to have that option which simply saves space.

If Microsoft says dont do it, just dont do it otherwise you run the risk of ruining your console and games.

I have my PS4 set up vertically to save space and I'm only doing it because Sony said its safe. I also like the stand.
