If you’re buying a PS4 or Xbox One for an exclusive launch title, such as Killzone: Shadow Fall or Forza 5, then you’ve probably already decided which console you’re going to buy. What if none of the launch-day exclusives appeal to you, though? What if you’re more interested in Assassin’s Creed 4, Battlefield 4, Madden 25, NBA 2K14, or one of the other big-name games that are available for both the PS4 and Xbox One? How do you decide which console to get? You could go on graphics quality, or which gamepad you prefer — or, or favorite option, you could choose the console that’s faster.
The upcoming Hollow Knight: Silksong has a chance to change up the formula from the first game in a unique way by giving Hornet her own armory.
The Velvet Room is one of Persona's most notable features, but Persona 6 will have a hard time topping some of the room's past incarnations.
huh?
it could literally be anything at this point.
its not the room itself, its how they handle the interior design of the room.
Sucker Punch’s massive samurai adventure Ghost of Tsushima has come under fire because of the PSN requirement. However, unlike Helldivers 2, things are a lot different and more logical this time.
"Sony has made it clear long before its release that the PSN requirement is strictly for the online multi-player Legends mode in Ghost of Tsushima and the PlayStation overlay. Online connection or PSN is not applied to the single-player campaign, which is honestly what the game is all about."
Legends clearly was based around using the pan they hardly want to have to design a whole new account structure just to play it, that's alot of effort and work. Ultimately people kicked up a fuss despite there being workarounds in most of those territories that people with a ps console have used over there for literally like 15/16 years. This is the consequence of that, be careful what you wish for or demand because you don't necessarily get to pick the method by which you get it.
This game is not Helldivers 2. Every game doesn’t need to be Call of Duty. I may or may not play one minute of the online component. I’m buying it solely for the story/campaign. Sony needs to integrate it better but Microsoft does the same with Xbox live account. It’s an ecosystem they will always want to tie into the console audience and frankly don’t know why this is such a big deal.
I want to play it for single player and if I want to try legends I am willing to log into my PSN account. What’s the big deal anyway? If I want to play a rockstar game from steam I still have to have a different launcher and account other that launcher and same goes for UBI. On PC we have so many store front anyway what’s another log in. BTW the way we the pc gamers reacted to HD2 will only mean Sony will make it clear before launch that their online is only available with PSN account
A better series of tests might involve task/app switching, and the like.
You would think the X1 would have the advantage in that department, but Anandtech showed that the Sony browser will actually use all available cores when running things like Javascript, whereas the X1's browser will limit itself to the 2 cores devoted to the OS.
That's both a good and bad thing, for both camps. Sony's machine will perform better when its just doing browsing, for sure. But when you're playing a game, and want to browse in the background, I'm thinking the X1 will perform better.
Both machines really cater themselves to their respective audiences (Sony: hardcore, MS: general) pretty well. Not a surprise, really.
That said... isn't it kind of disrespectful to not include the Wii U in these kinds of comparisons? It's entirely possible that it doesn't come in last in a lot of these comparisons.
So xb1 won
Man at this point i'm really getting sick of this Xbone VS PS shit? Are we really gonna do this for the next ten years? God damn give a fucking rest already about which system is better and just play the one you like must.
Lol, what next? Which console that can cook omelette in 5 seconds?
I'm sure killzone PS4 loads faster than any Xbox One game.
