WHAT!? What's next? a story that's not complicated to understand? Average boss battles?
MGS with no rations is like Kratos without his blades

TNTgamer3887d ago

erm not even joking, but Kojima said he was including less cut scenes to make MGS more understandable. but on the plus side we get more game play... right?

Batzi3887d ago

That's not true btw. No one confirmed that rations was not going to be in the game. The demo was set at the lowest difficulties and health regenerated faster because of that. On Normal difficulty the health regeneration should be similar to MGS3 and MGS4 and I am sure rations are still in the game. Not because they were not used means that they are not in the game. Stop with the false stories.

THamm3887d ago (Edited 3887d ago )

Exactly, we go through this all the time, people need to wait for a real full demo or statement. Remember the whole MGS4 rings around the player bit

shysun3887d ago

Like I've been saying...MAINSTREAMING! :(

WorldGamer3887d ago

That's too bad. Maybe the way they implement it works. Or, they could include a "classic" mode where it retains the old system.

Still excited for this game tho.

What the HELL MAN!!!!

First Resident Evil with the herbs and typewriter, we all know how that went.

Kojima, your creeping over to the dark side buddy, embrace your roots, DON'T abuse them!

Neo-Axl3887d ago

:'( Metal Gear Solid & Resident Evil, my bread and butter growing up, if Kojima does this to us.. honestly man, I'll have no childhood legends that kept unspoiled by gaming trends through the years.

The game isn't out yet, there may be hope yet brethren.

Now we'll have to see how much the Master Collection will add to those numbers.

Number1TailzFan185d ago

Too bad it was a lazy release. They could've updated the visuals and everything. Missed opportunity.

Stanjara185d ago

...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.

Minute Man 721185d ago (Edited 185d ago )

Are they counting every game?

Edit: they did

Nyxus185d ago

Yes, these are total lifetime sales of the entire series.

.... mostly with the help of PlayStation.

Yea I don’t get why they’re allowing old reviews to be posted here. Someone did one on Soul Reaver and I got so excited thinking there was some stealth release of an HD Remaster, but no… it’s just someone who had a slow day posted an old review…

Cacabunga201d ago

I liked the game but for me it felt somehow like a military simulator rather than a proper MGS.. i got bored of that

micdagoat19201d ago

I do wish they would remaster all the soul reavers

micdagoat19201d ago

it was done this morning though

goldwyncq201d ago

The author was in a coma for 9 years and didn't get to play the game when it released.

This review arrived just in time for launch. Perfect timing!

RupeeHoarder201d ago

Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.

YourMommySpoils201d ago

Looks better than Starfield, Cyberpunk and most recent games out. Still fine.

RupeeHoarder201d ago

It most certainly does not lol.

andy85201d ago

Have you player Cyberpunk since the first day? It's absolutely stunning now

One of the worst games ever made. Absolute overhyped trash!

Snowb420201d ago

The gameplay was great. It was the tacked on open world and repetitive missions that messed the game up.

Shane Kim201d ago

The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.

KyRo200d ago

The hospital section was the only bit that felt like a MGS game.

MGS4 was the ending for me. I totally ignore the fact 5 exists. It didn't need to exist tbh
