So its official: MS have lost the gaming community?

Much of the majority at the very least.

Serg4400d ago

Microsoft is getting it from all sides. Their Windows Phones don't sell. Windows 8 is crap. Valve going around telling everybody how to abandon DirectX and why it's crucial to their success to switch to OpenGL and start producing Linux and Mac versions of their games. And now this XBox One disaster.

Microsoft is wealthy enough to not be in any danger anytime soon, but I hope they keep this up, whatever this is, so they eventually run out of business and make room for superior products. Products that are not in danger of falling victim to patents like "how images are loaded in a webbrowser" and "spinning circle as a loading animation", look it up, Barnes and Noble were fighting them on this ridiculous crap in court a few years ago, while all the other moron companies just folded and payed royalties.

Really good short film. Well produced!

I doubt Microsoft will survive this new generation without the help of the hardcore. There just doesn't seem to be any reason left to buy a 100$ more expensive Xbox One over PS4.

These companies have been trying to take away our rights for nearly a decade now, and the consumer has finally said enough is enough. Microsoft, you were the first to bite the dust, and EA and all other ran out scared for their lives. Too bad Microsoft don't have the honor of admitting their mistake and returning to a consumer focused business model.

It's certainly causing some issues.

Utterly brilliant. Short, succinct and 'funny cos it's true'. A very well-made short film, and a very well-made point.

(Also - only 2 mins 33 secs. I'm busy, so I appreciate the brevity!)

Great stuff. Except the hairy belly, that bit I could have done without.

That controller looks like a cheap knockoff... it should have been a proper DS5 design.

...the VR aspect in 7 IS the redeeming quality.

Abriael6h ago(Edited 6h ago)

what a dumb take.

Ace Combat 7 is one of the best games of the past generation. It doesn't need VR gimmicks to "redeem" it.

Look, I’m a simple man. I see Ace Combat and say, “Yes!”

Abnor_Mal6h ago(Edited 6h ago)

Can we get a new Ace Combat, with full vr and not just three or four levels, for PS5 and PSVR2
Also if we could get a remake of my all time favorite, Ace Combat5: The Unsung War, again with full vr for every mission with DualSense and flight stick haptics.
