Persona 4 Golden review - The Gaming Vault

Connor White says: "The story was seemingly revolutionary back in 2008 and is still amazing today, and the RPG ties to the experience aren’t just a great amalgam of developed JRPG aspects, they showcase as clear and cohesive a project as I have ever seen. It might be the only one I’ve played in quite some time, but Persona 4 Golden is the best JRPG I have ever played."

Finished the game last month and have to say its my all time favoutite right next to Snake Eater and both are on Vita

This game is a piece of crap because its a lame PS2 port that was watered down so it could run on the Vita. When will Sony ever learn that the only good games are original IPs. They really have to get their act together because at the moment the Vita is a complete and utter failure.

/s = Im being sarcastic if anyone is wondering what the symbol means.

Damn i love JRPGs and im extremely interested in this title. Its a shame that there isnt a demo for this but ive seen plenty of reviews and im extremely tempted to get this. But the problem that im running into is that i want Rising as well but i cant afford both of them since i have to buy stupid office for my PC.

In case your wondering im a university student so i cant afford to blow off all my cash on video games plus im saving up for my future PS4.

EDIT: LOL both games are made by platinum games.

This is really easy. Get P4:G. You're welcome. :)

I haven't played MGR, but if you want a JRPG with a lot of time devoted to character development along with some of the best voice acting I've seen in a video game then I'd seriously recommend getting P4:G at some point.

For me it was 74 hours of pure enjoyment, though be warned, there are MANY bear puns.

Persona 4, it's not even close. Absolutely no reason not to be playing this game right now if you're a JRPG fan, heck I know ppl that aren't even into JRPGs finding themselves addicted to this game.
Persona 4's made by Atlus btw not Platinum

I'll have to make this a mission the next time I blow through Tokyo.

Hopefully soon, given the limited availability.

send me one while you're at it. I mean what's better than Whiskey and Persona? A cigar with the two, and that would be perfection personified.

Remasters And Remakes Make Up 90 Percent Of 2023's Highest-Rated Games

Only one of the games on the top ten is completely original.

90 percent of Metacrtitic's top ten highest-rated games of 2023 so far are remasters and remakes, with Hi-Fi Rush acting as the only wholly original game to make the list so far.

We might only be in March, but it seems like we've already got tons of great games to be talking about, including Dead Space, Resident Evil 4, Hi-Fi Rush, Persona 4 Golden, and Metroid Prime Remastered. There is one commonality between those games, however - most of them are remakes and remasters.
