I wish they’d do a proper switch 2 update for Tony Hawk 1+2 me and my 7 year old daughter love playing it in split screen and it plays great but it looks absolutely terrible. I would say it looks like the resolution drops down to about 540p in order to keep the framerate up.

Ace Combat 7 is one of the best games of the past generation. It doesn't need VR gimmicks to "redeem" it.
I have enjoyed nearly every single Ace Combat to death (except that helicopter shooting one) and have never needed VR once to enjoy it greatly
^^^ I'm guessing you've never actually tried it in VR then? VR elevates games like this way beyond just a gimmick, just ask any GT fan who owns a PSVR 2. You may not need VR to have a good time but it's an absolute game changer and something that shouldn't be dismissed as a gimmick.

Spoken like someone who never played it. But who are we kidding. We know why VR hate. No one is fooled here.
@PapaBop: I tried it in VR before any of you ever did, since the game wasn't even out yet. It's a gimmick, disjointed from the AC7's main gameplay and far removed from its best parts.
It's nothing more than a limiting factor, as Ace Combat's most complex missions require hardware power to be focused on other things. That's why the VR missions are very basic.
If you think Ace Combat's strengths are even close to the platform it's on, VR or non-VR, you obviously aren't an Ace Combat fan.
In any case, I suggest you folks prepare yourself for disappointment. There's a reason why the VR gimmick was never expanded, and it's that, besides a few fanatics who care for evangelizing their VR fad more than they care for the franchise, no one gave a flying F.
The developers are going to use the resources to make the whole game better for everyone instead.
Can we get a new Ace Combat, with full vr and not just three or four levels, for PS5 and PSVR2
Also if we could get a remake of my all time favorite, Ace Combat5: The Unsung War, again with full vr for every mission with DualSense and flight stick haptics.
I just want them to remaster AC4 and AC5, a new AC with better more realistic looking world and planes would be great too
Getting a victory in Fortnite Battle Royale is more more challenging after the recent change.
Exactly the opposite could happen too. Who knows? The market is too unpredictable to make an adequate guess on which platform will sell the most. The best thing one can look to is history, and even history lacks consistency at times.
With that said, can we please just take the wait and see approach? I've had enough with the crystal balls over "who will sell best/worst/whatever" for one generation. All it seems to do is breed flame wars anyway.
Mario Kart 8, Zelda and a new Retro Studios Metroid will do wonders for sales.
With a release 1 year before PS4/Xbox 3, it would be normal to see that.
Wii U has no games because Nintendo wanted to release before and not confront against PS4/Xbox.
Wii U will have big IP fall 2013/early 2014, when PS4/Xbox 3 will just release, after a big desert.
And maybe, there will be a price cut for Wii U when PS4/Xbox will release at 400-450$
So no need to be happy, that's normal ...
Down the price to 249 USD and release AAA games like Zelda and Nintendo will have the 3DS effect, simple Nintendo good price and AAA games,
i dont know if their fanbase can hold up considering most of it last gen was because of marketing the wii motes and wii sports. they dont have that anymore so casual gamers and parents may turn to the ps4 and 720 if they can bring the goods with the ps3 move and kinect to the casuals aswell as nintendo did last gen.
