The game looks like a pile of shiny with no gameplay substance.

But the gameplay still looks decent, essentially its looking like uncharted. Hopefully theres actually a hub world in this and some RPG elements. I don't expect the gameplay to blow us away but I think it will shine in its quality of story telling with voice acting and animations.

Launch titles don't typically push the envelope, but this could be a brilliant demo of things to come.

Umm don't mean to burst your bubble, but those 'thing to come' have already been possible on PC for a couple of years.

The PS4/720 are midrange 2011 PC graphics cards at best. While the rumored 7970m is a 2012 card, it isn't midrange, thus IF it is even a 7970m, it'll be comparable to a 2011 mid range PC card.

Meanwhile the CPU will be beat by an i7 920 from 2008.

If you want to see 1313 in all it's glory (which you don't need to in order to have fun), then you'll need to buy it on PC.

1313 on next generation consoles will be a couple notches lower in settings compared to the PC version.

I never said they haven't been possible....just because something is "possible", does not mean its in existence. 99% of titles are made with the console market in mind and so do not take advantage of PC hardware. To a large extent consoles act as a bottle neck for PC's but equally the lack of unified hardware for developers to optimise for stops even PC exclusives from truly showcasing their hardware, and so the arrival of next-gen console always represents a big step foward for PC games. Despite the fact that they may just be equal in power to mid range PC's, the visuals we will see from the new consoles will undoubtably be beyond anything you can currently play on your $2,000 graphics card. So the statement remains.

Look back to 2006, there is not a single PC game, even in its highest settings thats stands high above a title like Gears of War or even the less impressive Resistance.

And you can tell this how exactly? From watching a trailer and a few short gameplay videos (which look fantastic)?

This is going to be a big next gen game.

Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell Of Ar Ciel Retro Review – Love Conquers All

Gary Green said: You’ll be forgiven if you haven’t heard of the Ar Tonelico trilogy. The previous two games arrived so late in the PS2’s life-cycle that they simply went unnoticed. While most were tinkering with their shiny new PS3s, Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia and Ar Tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica were being ‘returned to sender’ by your local Game stores. Luckily, you won’t need to have played them to understand and appreciate this third and final chapter, Qoga (pronounced k-yoga) tells the story of a racial war between humans and Reyvateils, a breed of biologically produced female cyborgs capable of reproduction, while still having a digital mind.

Oh my god. I kinda wish this would get a remaster on PS5, it would be awesome. One of my favorite games on PS3.

That and 3D Dot Game Heroes. It's a shame that some stuff is stuck on PS3.
