I agree with Sound Shapes, I downloaded it and go back to it every once in a while. I enjoy the music (instrumentals) in that game and it is a great platforming game. SS is one of the few games that put two different genres together, and do it so well. The best way to play is with Headphones, on a Vita. IMO

David's taste in games is pretty unique and gives a great example of the type of guy he really is. David Jaffe seems like a cool guy and it seems that he doesn't have any bad blood with Sony and I'm happy he pointed out that he is not working on a handheld title or a big fan of them, so no one can jump and say he is working on a handheld title. I would like to know what game he is working on with Jenova Chen or if they still are doing a game together.

He plays everything, enjoys every console and that is the type of developer we need in this industry. Oh, and his daughter is so funny; walking in the room and asking who is GiantBomb. Favorite game Minecraft, not Twisted Metal. Priceless.

Someone actually reported my comment because I listed what the games were. So beware when giving out details to any article, being helpful doesn't pay here.

MikeMyers4143d ago (Edited 4143d ago )

double post

EVILDEAD3604143d ago (Edited 4143d ago )

@ Mikemyers

That's weak they reported you detailing the list. I don't want to click it at the moment want to read what the list was.

People do it ALL the time for articles and vids they hate on, why would this be any different.

Shame for the clear double standard.

mochachino4143d ago

@MikeMyers: Have a bubble vote for being helpful. I have video top tens so whoever reported you should stop doing that.

Hicken4142d ago

@MikeMyers

It happens EVERY time. I try to get people to dish out bubbles for being helpful in such situations.

Honestly, though, I don't know if it's some troll actually reporting people, or whether it's the mods, themselves, for some reason.

In any case, it seems like it's not rewarded. And since it's marked as spam, it's not even visible. It'd almost be better to be marked for trolling.

I bought Mutant Blobs attack on Steam a few days ago, really enjoying it. I just need to get a gold medal on two more levels to S-rank it.

Black Ops 2 was hand down the best game of this console generation.

Treian4144d ago

...Please don't ever comment again.

Riderz13374144d ago

Thank you for showing me why you have one bubble with that type of comment.

SuperSonic2664144d ago

you do know it's his opinion?

DragonKnight4143d ago

@SuperSonic266 and AdmiralSnake: Clearly you've fallen for Young_ART's troll.

Furesis4144d ago

i don't agree with you so that's why i disagreed but it's your opinion so i respect that

SamPao4143d ago

The thing is, people need to learn how to say an opinion!

"Black Ops 2 was hand down the best game of this console generation. "

this is what you say when it's a fact.

he should have said.

"FOR ME Blops2 is hands down the best game of this console generation."

THIS, I respect

360ICE4143d ago

I don't really respect his opinion, but bubbling it down is of course wrong.

360ICE4143d ago

@Ultr
The only reason people take statements like
"Game x is the best game ever" as a statement of fact, is because they're too willing to be offended by it. Which is one major reason why you're bound to see less outrage if people actually like Game x.

Nor does "Black Ops 2 is the best" = "Black Ops 2 is the best for everyone". The only fair assumption to make is that it's the author's personal opinion, and not an attemt at being objective. I mean, does anyone actually use an objective standard when they determine what games are best? No. Hence, it's likely an opinion, and if the readers have some processing skills they'll pick up on that without the need for "IMO"

BlaqMagiq244143d ago

Not sure if stupid or trolling

Let's Be Real, There Is Nothing "Micro" About Microtransactions Anymore

Microtransactions have gotten ridiculously overpriced in recent years, with titles now offering cosmetic skins worth more than some games.

Terry_B1d 1h ago

Yup..this is 100% the sad truth

z2g4h ago(Edited 4h ago)

The elephant in the room tho is personal accountability. It’s easy (albeit basic) to blame the big, bad corpo, but microtransactions wouldn’t be where they are if gamers didn’t spend money on them. As it stands the MTs usually make more than the game. Publishers know raising game prices will cause backlash, so they do MTs to compensate. But the adult conversation is consumers determine the success of products with their wallets. So if MTs are a huge thing, it’s because we as consumers told them we like them by giving them a lot of money for them. So if you don’t want them to be a thing, convince your fellow gamers to stop buying them and expect that games will be decently more expensive. You all can disagree all you want, but reality is a bitch, and eventually you have to live in it.

anast2h ago

Trying to convince people is the least realistic thing. If we are trying to be adults, actual action is what changes things not "convincing campaigns" on platforms owned by the people 'you' are going against. It's madness and idealistic.

isarai17h ago

I mean except for the amount of content you're paying for.

Hugodastrevas6h ago

There never was, the only time I paid for a microtransaction was on Blacklight Retribution (PS4) and it was because I enjoyed the game a lot so I felt the devs should get something for all that entertainment (€5 "membership")

-Foxtrot5h ago

The devs wouldn’t get that though, that shit goes straight to the higher ups who do f*** all let’s be honest.

Hugodastrevas4h ago

Probably, but I wasn't as cynical back then and €5 wasn't a big ask to get the guns with grinding instead of renting them, and the game was good (still is on the PS5/4)

CrimsonWing694h ago(Edited 4h ago)

I couldn’t believe what Blizzard charged for horse armor and cosmetics in Diablo 4…

I remember back in the day when a season pass was $15 and you got everything included in it. Now, I see them at $60 and you still don’t get everything.

Shane Kim4h ago

As soon as gaming wasn't deemed nerdy anymore, and reached the casuals this happened. We're smart, but casuals play mobile games and other stuff, and don't really have anything to compare. They think gaming is supposed to be like this and pay for in game purchases.

Keoken Interactive lays off majority of team after failing to find funding at GDC

Deliver Us Mars developer Keoken Interactive has laid off the majority of its staff after struggling to secure funding …

mastershredder4d ago

The industry model and standards and who's in place to approve/disapprove have changed ^ what Keoken is feeling now is much like the Mobile burst 15 years ago. Expect more to come out of your own finances. Investors are treating games like movies and now (thank$ a lot for involving yourself hollywood) only the big (and money blind) investors get involved, effectively killing a lot of content that would come out with proper non-gate-kept and/or with incentivized funding.

Markdn4d ago

And when you only make a fraction of your games worth on gamepass you suffer

Tacoboto4d ago

Palworld and Manor Lords are so suffering.

RiseNShine4d ago (Edited 4d ago )

Sorry but i couldn't care less, Deliver us Mars was as woke game as they come, climate change disaster, all female cast plus only a comic relief indian guy (it takes only 5 minutes into the game for the main female character to say how smart she is compared to the guy), evil white guys, ugly females, then add generic gameplay and puzzles (how many times do you have to cut things with a laser for gods sake), you can't change anything in how the events develop so 0 agency in the story, sub par graphics even while using UE4. So well, go woke go broke, that's how it works.

Miacosa4d ago (Edited 4d ago )

That stinks but with a 68 average critic rating on their games probably made it difficult for people to invest considering there is a bloat of games getting made these days.

ROCKY284d ago

You guys will be back with team strength and funding !
