GameInformer- Episode 4 builds to a promising series finale, and the writers make sure that the emotional toll of every decision and horrifying experience plagues your psyche. In that, it succeeds by properly laying down all the groundwork for Episode 5. The episode starts off slow, but by the end, lights fire in a worthy cliffhanger. I'm still thinking about it, and it doesn't get much better than that.
"Come hang out and talk Telltale with us. This episode we talk about The Walking Dead Episode 4 – Around Every Corner." -- PlayStation Enthusiast
GameZone: "On this edition of GameZone's 31 Games of Halloween, we're headed back to the land of the undead, but this time around, things are very different."
SPOILER WARNING. This series contains Telltale’s The Walking Dead spoilers that span across the entire first season. Watch at your own peril!
This episode, Justis and McBosspants try their best to fight against the growing linearity of the series. Surprisingly, their poor-decision-making Lee is starting to merge with their own good-guy-Lee playthrough as they fight against the boredom of point-and-click adventures, the lack of choices in the later parts of the game, and the exhaustion of recording two episodes in a row.
Ep 3 broke on me during the train repair. Let's hope this one is actually finishable.
I loved the episode, I had the feeling on what was going to happen. The games storyline really reminds me of the book "The Road" (Lee and Clems relationship is vary similar to "The Road" characters) mixed with zombies, a perfect combo if you ask me. I would give the episode a 8.5/10, I really enjoyed it as mush as the rest of the episodes, and as a whole sofar I'd give this series a 9/10, can't wait to see how it ends, I do not see it having a happy ending.
Excited to play this game once all episodes are out. I'm betting we'll see a Steam sale for the entire pack shortly after the last episode launches.
