An Elder Scrolls player, curious as to why the game stopped him at the border between Skyrim and Morrowind, engaged noclip mode and decided to look beyond. And what he saw was stunning...

It won't happen, but I would pay big money if the DLC was unlocking the regions one at a time with detail akin to that of Skyrim.

WetN00dle694554d ago

Well Bethesda did say that DLC wont be released frequently BUT will be huge! So i dont know dude. I smell Bethesda cooking something good! But first they need to release the patch.

jerethdagryphon4554d ago

if the plan is to give us reigion by region then omg im in love

tes 5 could be the final elder scroll for a really long time but it could work into a complete continent

scotchmouth4553d ago

That would be awesome. Is there a tentative date they are aiming for? Not that it matters as I am slowly grinding and chugging along in skyrim.

Arnon4554d ago

Morrowind... bring me Morrowind on Skyrim's engine. Oh god how amazing that would be.

FCOLitsjustagame4554d ago

As long as we can skip the blight storms. Which really should be gone now anyway since a previous character of mine resolved the whole "Red Mountain" issue.

snipes1014554d ago

YES. With no question the best entry in the Elder Scrolls series.

NegativeCreepWA4554d ago

I think the Mt erupted in recent years forcing the the dumner to move.

WhiteLightning4554d ago

I really want to se what Cyrodiil looks like now, with the wars that went on and the time period that has passed it would be nice to see what it looks like now.

strange19864554d ago

Yeah I'd love to revisit some of the familiar cities (or perhaps not so familiar anymore).

eak34554d ago

Possible DLC? Would be nice to revisit Morrowind. Wasnt it rendred inhabitable when the volcano erupted as all the Dunmer had to evacuate and many refugees ended up in Skyrim.

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast36d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22936d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko36d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave36d ago (Edited 36d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
