OXCGN’s Battlefield 3 Massive Review: Multiplayer Masterpiece on PC?

Note the 6.5 is for single player, multi is separate and is 9.5

It's a shame they didn't do more with the single player. You can't just say: it's primarily focused on multiplayer and then just tack on a single player, just to compete with COD.

Yeah I know some say "it shouldn't bother with single player it has always been about the multi", but I'm happy they put it in.

They probably should have taken longer with it and made sure both modes were great though.

The single player was awesome, and wasn't tacked-on at all.

Anyone who says it is hasn't even completed the first mission. Sure, it felt a bit tedious at a few points, but it was a solid experience. Certainly not a 6.5.

So are you saying that the single player is as good as, say, the awesome Bad Company 2 one?

Bit better i suppose , can't say the cod ones are any better though , same sort of thing.
