Three reasons why Game Judgment's Nicholas Abbate feels PC's are superior to consoles.
Originally developed by Starbreeze Studios and released in 2013, this modern remake from Italian developer Avantgarden S.r.l. switches from Unreal Engine 3 to Unreal Engine 5 – adding a high-fidelity, 4K lick of paint to a timeless classic that still packs an emotional punch over a decade later.
"The Arad-based (Romania) indie games developer Predict Edumedia are today very happy and excited to announce that their turn-based roguelike/dungeon-crawler/RPG "ARHAEKON", is coming to PC via Steam Early Access in Q2 2024." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
PlayStation tweets: "Helldivers fans -- we’ve heard your feedback on the Helldivers 2 account linking update. The May 6 update, which would have required Steam and PlayStation Network account linking for new players and for current players beginning May 30, will not be moving forward.
We’re still learning what is best for PC players and your feedback has been invaluable. Thanks again for your continued support of Helldivers 2 and we’ll keep you updated on future plans."
Now, will gamers take all this fervor and aim it at the likes of EA, Ubisoft, Take2, and others who have way more invasive and problem-causing apps for Steam games?
Thank you! I have a PS account, but bought this on PC. I just hate having to do stupid stuff like this just to get into the game I bought.
i love both worlds of gaming but right now pc offers way more variety
I wish I could added a gaming level pc. Then I could play Starcraft 2 :(
The way I see it regarding cost is that its all situational. If you know how and what needs doing to assemble a powerful gaming rig then PC gaming could be a great choice. For me however, simplicity wins everytime.
My only problem is the lack of game genres the PC does well. It excels at a few, but bombs at most. Modding is something consoles can't compete with, but some games are getting there with user created content and support from the devs. Overall I want to get into PC gaming for what it does well, but I'll always have a console too.
