Can Splinter Cell Match Uncharted 2 Quality For XBOX360

Uncharted 2 is another killer app under Sony's belt and when it comes down to competition this is definitley the game to beat but, there is a game out there that attempts to match the quality of this spectacular title and that's Splinter Cell: Conviction on the Xbox360.

It basically even has picture in picture, telling you of current and past story events while your playing, you actually get to watch it, experience it while your damn game is playing. It's a huge first in gaming.

The 360 is far from maxed out no matter how you spin it. Still there's no UC2 visual equivalent but that doesn't mean there won't ever be. Splinter Cell looks amazing no doubt, but from what I have seen it doesn't look as good as Uncharted 2, this however does not mean it wont have awe-inspiring moments that match or even surpass those of Uncharted 2. In terms of gameplay and fun factor etc it hard to say which'll be better, past Splinter Cell games have no doubt been amazing but in terms of being the "best" sneaking game? MGS has had nothing short of gargantual following.

This is always an issue concerning which platform a game calls home, prejudice is inescapable, but as long as you and a loyal following of fans of the game do buy the game and appreciate its qualities thats all that matters.

The first Rainbow Six Vegas on the 360 scored 88 with Metacritic. That is the same score as Uncharted got. Check for yourself.

SC:C will do far more than Uncharted 2 could ever dream of, the old SC games did that. Also, comparing the 2 titles is correct, they're both TP controlled single player games (mostly).

Uncharted 2 will sell less than Splinter Cell:Conviction! That will be your ultimate tie breaker.

for the one millionth time i'm not comparing uncharted 2 to splinter cell in terms of one is better than the other. what i'm doing is telling you guys that both games are great, both games represent one console exclusively , and the hype that uncharted 2 is getting and the power that they are showing is on a new next gen level for the ps3.

It only works when they are in the same genre(infamous vs prototype)...compare Splinter cell to MGS...compare halo to killzone...compare forza to GT... uncharted can really only be compared to tomb raider which sucks on both systems...

If splinter cell is comparable to MGS in the end(I say in the end because Ubisoft games tend to lack the polish that could put them in the big boy group... especially splinter cell games which suck)

MS should secure exclusive rights to tomb raider and make that compete with uncharted, I would love to see a tomb raider game on par with uncharted 1 let alone uncharted 2...

Give the guy a break. He loves video games and likes talking about them. I may not agree with him all the time, but his passion is there which I can relate to and appreciate.

Graphically, no Splinter Cell can't. We've already seen the two and while Conviction does look good, it's nowhere near the level of Uncharted 2.

Gameplay wise, I'm sure both games will be exemplary showcases of game design and game play. I personally can't wait for both.

ok uncharted 2 is absolutely amazing... i've only played to the beta and let me tell you it is the MOST DYNAMIC shooter i've ever played... come on what shooters now-a-days let you climb up behind someone and pull 'em off to their death... i'm not saying that splinter cell won't be good because nobody has really seen it yet.
