IGN - Infamous 3 Ideas

IGN - Before we go any further: SPOILER ALERT. This article is all about where the Infamous franchise could go after the events of Infamous 2. If you haven't finished both of the Infamous 2 endings, don't read any further. I'm going to go into great detail about what they could mean to the series. Also, Infamous 3 has not been announced. I have no insider information. I'm just hypothesizing about the franchise. Understood?

I am on my Second "Evil Karma" play and i am loving every second of it. It's amazing how back when the first was announced no one cared much about it, but then it was released and everyone loved it.

The second game is a huge leap forward for the franchise.

i say they take a break reboot the franchise some other time

i cant really think of anything they can do in terms of powers

other than to take what we already have and combine them and i dont mean like take rockets and shockwave and make them one attack i mean like what they did in infamous with the defualt lightning attack an rockets becoming artillery i wish they expanded on that

they could come up with potentially hundreds of combinations from the attacks we have

Butcher Cole's appearance some more & get yet another voice actor to voice Cole so he'll look and sound different with every new game. I mean they already ruined Infamous 2 by doing that which is why I didn't play it (just looked up the mediocre endings on youtube).

They're better off scraping the series altogether as the only good Infamous game is the first 1 and they've ruined any chance they had at making it a good franchise as a whole. They should just get started on a new IP on hope they don't ruin it like they did with Infamous 2.

Thankfully, Sucker Punch isn't making Sly 4 which means Sly will have his original voice actor rather than getting some new person with a high voice to voice Sly. This is why I'm glad Sanzaru Games is making Sly 4 since unlike Sucker Punch, Sanazaru Games won't try to turn Sly into a beaver for the sequel.

hate and troll all you want. People like you are the scum of Earth, bitter to the inner core. Good for you and the whole gaming community that a troll like you isnt playing a games as good as infamous 2 or any other good games. Imo you are not even a gamer but a loser who likes to sit infront of his computer all day and troll and make others miserable. This is the first time a troll has ever got to me and made me go on a rant. Go get a life, gf, job, set some goals in your no good life idiot instead of wasting your time trolling on the internet.

Did you hate The Dark Knight also because Katie Holmes was recast? Or a hundred other movies, TV shows, and games where roles were recast? It happens. Move on.

dgonza404680d ago

really? the voice acting and comsmetics of cole was the deciding factor on why you didnt support a game sucker punch worked hard on?

what's really mediocre is your sad attempt at justifying your reasoning behind not buyinig infamous 2..

it was a great game, and if you were really a fan you would've bought the Infamous 2 regardless of how cole looked or talked..

"i wont buy the game, but ill look up the endings on youtube" seriously, dude? lol

100%, locked 60fps and still look great all these years later, same with the expansion, definitely worth a look if people haven't played it yet, not the best games ever made but a good experience, hopefully a new infamous gets released

KwietStorm_BLM105d ago

Never was my favorite infamous, but it was definitely a graphics showcase early on PS4. Still plays well with the unlocked frame rate.

SDuck105d ago

Still remember getting hyped about this game nearing release. Funny because I never even got a PS4. Jumped from PS3 to PC so I never played it ahahaha

OmegaSoldati104d ago

Its a good game. But thats it. Congratulations you made the best choice. I dream to have a great PC one day.

Profchaos105d ago (Edited 105d ago )

Graphically It's a absolutely stunning game that still holds up today.

Didn't have all that much depth to it forcing you to play though twice for a platinum trophy a good and bad run it was a little disappointing how similar those were Delsin would be like I'm not doing that for you in a cutscene but the cutscene would play out and force you to do it anyway just as you would of in a good run

I did like the story however it got a lot of complaints back in the day people hated playing as Delsin instead of cole despite Coles story being wrapped up.

Overall though the map wasn't overly saturated with useless points of interest there was some collectibles and things to find but nothing compared to a Ubisoft game.

I think it was a good game if a little hollow I've played it through around 4 times now since it's so short.

Also it's DLC was great a full story expansion

I've played 15, and I wouldn't consider any of those underrated TBH. Some of them are pretty high rated.

banger88136d ago

That's amazing, Gamingbolt actually put all 15 games on the same page.

shinoff2183135d ago

I. Not seeing anything on that list underrated. I never played concrete genie, the ASTRO vr,and one other but I forgot the name already. Nothing on there was underrated at all imo.

persona4chie135d ago

There’s only 4 of those games I never played, and no most of those aren’t underrated.
