IGN - IGN talks to producer Natsuki Shiozawa.
Okami is one of the most beautiful games ever realized. Released in 2006 for PlayStation 2, it’s coming back as a HD re-release for PS3, with Move support. Shown at Gamescom and at TGS, Capcom’s game puts you in the role of a wolf-god with an artistic ability to recreate its surroundings, using a paintbrush and calligraphic skills to swish through an ancient world.
Daily Video Game writes: "Xbox Store has just launched three new digital sales that offers steep discounts on various combat, family, and free to play games for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, including many Xbox 360 games right now!"
I had no idea Binary Domain was backwards compatible. I know what I'm downloading.
I would like El Shaddi, Afterburner Climax, and outrun 2 please. I am sure that there are other games as well but those came to mind for me right now.
Daily Video Game writes: "Today, eShop has just kicked off a Capcom publisher sale that includes some of its best games such as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, OKAMI HD, and more with big savings for Nintendo Switch and 3DS gamers right now!"
Daily Video Game writes: "Today, Xbox Store has just kicked off Super Saver sale, Resident Evil sale, and Spotlight sale for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One right now, offering up to 95% off on over two hundred games, including many good AAA, Xbox first-party, and Xbox 360 era games."
Q:Why Capcom Remade Okami?
A:"Through the use of HD technology, we are able to bring the true Okami experience to a whole new generation of gamers, and that alone warrants the development of this game."
- besides cashing in on this IP,was hoping for a sequel.
I want this in the 360
to extract more money from it's consumers?
I want this on the Vita.
Well, there is a vast array of credible reasons. For example, to get even more money, to please old fans by releasing the same thing, to imply the release of a sequel (?) or just to see it in HD.
Also, it is a HD 'remaster,' not a 'remake.'
