PSNow! - Yakuza 4 Review

PSNow!. "Yakuza 4 is a title that will delight all those who decide to give it a try. However, its very large work on the argument and the environment is hindered by a continual drive that can become tiresome to those who have enjoyed other deliveries."

... yet it also has lots more room for improvement in certain areas, so that's very promising to know :)

Finished the game a while ago and I'm still only somewhere around 20% 'completion', so apart from collecting stuff and some minigames and random battles, I'm not really quite sure what else there is left to do though....

...but I really really liked the game. :)

I love a game that appreciates the german suplex. The only thing that I can think of, that would make this game better is to have a unlockable Ryo Hazuki skin. :)

I love the Yakuza games and enjoyed 4, but it is my least favorite of the series. Mainly cause I consider the story to be a weaker one of the series and... Tanimura. I absolutely hated his fighting style. To play an all our brawler for 3 and a half games and then to suddenly have to play someone defensive and parrying... yeah.

Shame about Creative Assembly, they should have just been allowed to do an Alien Isolation sequel.

just_looken47d ago

It was that garbage coh 3 that did them in only a special team can make a sequel worse in every way even though it was a 10 year gap and the same era.

gold_drake47d ago

I hope they find new jobs in the industry soon.

Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive probably run on a shoe string budget so that fits into SEGA better lol
