GameCube was sold at a "single digit" loss at launch.

3DS was also sold at a loss at launch.
Nothing new here. Almost every console has been sold at a loss at launch. Xbox 360? Yup. Ps3? Yup. PS2? Yup. GCN? I believe so, but not 100% sure...
They make up the difference in software sold. How many people are going to buy NSMBU at launch? Plenty.
Xbox360 Feature: Five major horror games that fail to horrify
but Xbox 360's recent crop of so-called chillers leave much to be desired.
Not quite a general segment, but rather a segment on 360 horror games.
A random wordpress blog that doesn't even have a logo.
Definitely a reliable source.
Gosh...to think that people pay for Cable/Magazines/Movies/Newspap ers/Internet/XBL/PS+/Hulu and they still get ads.
FTFY.

I disagree. Go install steam on your computer, look through the games and then come back and tell me that there are only shooters and MMOs on PC.

Super Smash Brothers Melee would like a word with you.
So would Wind Waker and Metroid Prime.
No Super Mario World? I think Forest Of Illusion 1 is worth a mention. Hitting that star halfway through the level and racking up a bunch of lives? That was awesome.
Yeah, here is mine.

I got a lot of work to do...
Agreed. I've been thinking the same thing about most of the comments on this article.
If that is the case, please explain how the same games on steam are much lower priced, because it looks like a Sony and Microsoft problem to me.
(Aside from the initial $10 difference between console and PC)
Really interesting read! That is some good investigative journalism right there.
Agreed.
Considering that this 'Episode' was recorded on the third and in the next paragraph they claim:
"The dashboard preview is supposedly this week (tomorrow?)"
This makes them lose all credibility with me. I'm in the preview and I can tell you we are still waiting for an update.
Edit: Also, I am curious as to where they got this info from. Did they ever think that maybe 'secret' project "Ten" Could be Intern...
That was my favorite part of the game:
Lets lock you in the house with several strangers, then proceed to slowly kill them off one by one without anyone knowing you are the killer.
Muahahahahaa
"This video no longer available due to a Copyright claim by Activition Games Inc."
Sounds about right. I think they answered your question.
For that price, you'd think people would just buy a 3DS.
Someone was sleeping today. LOL

Day one purchase! Broke my addiction 1 year ago, time to get back in for this!
@bintarok
I am going to correct you, thanks for the invitation. The 360 does not run on GDDR3 RAM, it runs on DDR3 ram, and I don't know any DDR3 RAM that runs at 700MHz, so I have no clue where you are getting your numbers from, not that clock speeds even matter for this comparison. The main advantage GDDR5 has over DDR3 is going to be its bandwith, not its speed.
