Wow thanks for all the kind words! I'm sure there will be plenty of negative ones to come, but I just wanted to tell you guys I really appreciate you taking the time to read my article.
I enjoy Greg's reviews/articles/previews because he seems to put some genuine enthusiasm into them. Grammar or other slight mistakes don't really factor in. The review told me about the game, it wasn't meant to be an English term paper.
If anything you did for a living had to be torn apart on messages boards on a daily basis, you might not stand up to such strict scrutiny either.
JETTTTTT MOOOOOOTTTTTOOOOO!
I hope they make a sequel to this game and add upon the foundation they laid with the first title. It was good but had a good bit of flaws.
If you look at the screenshots and compare them to some of the Ratchet and Clank screens from All4ONE and Crack in Time you can see a similar style of overlapping effects and flourishes on top of the regular character models.
It looks great.
can everyone just get the %$#@ over it? Their wouldn't be a sequel at all, had the series stayed on the PS3. Their is a huge difference between production development for PS3 and PSP.
I just don't want to see 100 comments saying it needs to be on another system even though it is pretty commonly agreed that the PSP sequel prior to this was an excellent game.
I'd say the Ratchet game is the announced "Heroes on the Move". Resistance 3 isn't announced hence the denial, or just a drastic change with the story/character in R3.
Microsoft has a bad habit of throwing away all their money on "timed" exclusives, only delaying their release on the PS3. Which doesn't win them much favor from the PS3 fanbase since they are only taking away from the games they could be playing, not producing innovative new franchises to catch their attention. It all feels very short sighted to me.
Three words: Jersey ...Devil...2
It's a little sad I have to ask myself if the game plays really that differently on PS3, or if it's just Arthur Gies and his inability to ever say anything good about the PS3. He is the reason I can't listen to Rebel.FM anymore.
He's fine of the Three Red Lights podcast, but given anything to talk about on the PS3 he can find nothing but faults.
EXAMPLE: When the subject of "games that would be important to play for this generation&...
Jaffe you're a cool dude, and I like you. But I'm really sick of hearing what your game isn't. Just be quiet til you have something to show.'
Edge sort of seems to hate life, so *grain of salt.
Ninja Theory seem a little butt hurt lately.
I submited a request for a remake on the Playstation Blog, but it never showed up on the site. Not sure why.
Anyways obviously...do want!
Thanks for clearing up that thing I've never heard about. If anyone actually believes the 360 changed the structure of this game that much, then yes they are dumb/ignorant/grasping at straws.
Jet Moto-Storm ....please?
Dude you seemed stressed, you should play some Flower and drink some tea.
Working in the Electronics department of a retail store I can tell you, the Wii shortage and PS3 shortages are real. I have to answer phone calls for each everyday, and it's only 3-4 days a month I can say "Yes we have some in stock."
If you don't want to see trash like this on N4G, hit the report button and let them know.
I don't disagree that the story itself is newsworthy, it certainly is. But when you see articles like "Sony is finished by 2012" or "WE DEMAND COMPENSATION" it's just good to keep things in perspective.
