Always the same shit, over and over...
"oh no, those idiots did not give it the good score"
"I bet it's not even on metacritic"
"I've never heard of that website"
- you like the game ? So why do you care about one particular review ? Did you even read it ?
- who cares about metacritic ? Are you a shareholder of th publisher ?
- just because you don't know a site does not mean it's i...
Unless you're playing Angry birds or a flipper game, I personnally cannot understand why anyone would want such a feature. This is absolute immesrion breaking, 100% guaranteed.
good to see Deus Ex up there but... Where the fuck is the Witcher 2 ?
"Getting to explore a fully fleshed-out version of what we've only really seen from the top down promises to be a wonderful experience"
sweet !
I hope Relic will deliver on this TPS / beat them all mix. I believe they have the talent to make something really good !
OMG
a game with dragons in it ? my dream came true !
Now please, please, could I have a modern warfare shooter ? This would be like heaven
No W40k Space Marine ;-(
Well, there is still Red Faction... Guerilla was a pretty good surprise
that said, there are still game developpers proud to annouce 60+ hours of gameplay while 59 of these 60 hours are boring as shit...
can't wait for Deus Ex HR though, hope it will be a worthy successor of the glorious original one
Deus Ex was "semi open" and it was absolutely awesome
I pity the fool who sets his expectations based on a cinematic, non gameplay, trailer
Why would you want to change Alyx ? There are so many terrible videogame characters that deserve (or need) a new design, and Alyx is by no mean one of them.
"Especially when Crysis 2 turns you into a complete badass"
Jeeze...
So, being a complete badass is the only thing that matters in a videogame ?
I don't know what DA2 is worth, though I must say I've lost most of my interest for it and won't play this game before a long time (when it's cheap and when I've nothing else to play) but this article reminds me once more that there is something deeply flawed with videogames reviews : the scale used for the final note.
When you say "Instead, what we get is a complete reimagining of the series, with the gameplay radically changed for the worse, graphic...
On one hand, I want this game to succeed because I think THQ did some good stuff lately on the hardcore side of gaming (in these days and age where many publishers have wet dreams of f***g facebook games)
But on the other hand, the sooner the publishers learn that this industry does not need another boring COD clone, the better
OK Treyarch, fine, now can you update your engine so that your next game is not a stupid piece of scripted crap ?
I don't really care about the score, and I don't expect wonders on the graphic side (nothing that we could compare to the impact of the first Crysis a few years ago)
what I really want to know is : did they turn this game into another "modern warfare game on a f***g scripted corridor" ?
The change of environment between the two games is slightly frightening me, I must admit
a FPS huh... makes sense
it will be hard to compete with inFamous 2 so they go FPS where there is not much competition... hem...
(actually, imho, most recent mainstream FPS are a pile of scripted crap but that's another problem)
"China, who will be a big force worldwide after 20 years"
Do you live in 1991 ? ^_^
China is already a "big force"
"the infamous train level..."
why "infamous" ?
why does the author of the article state that "you've probably never heard of From Dust" ?
Does he believe that everybody but him is only interested in Call of Duty or something ?
Very sad news... Especially if you consider that New Vegas sold really well despite the early problems. This might be linked to Alpha Protocol results or Dungeon Siege expectations, who knows.
For me, Obsidian is one of he last company that does WRPG right. I can really appreciate a game like Mass effect 2 or Oblivion, but that's a different beast... Without Obsidian, CD Projekt would virtually become the last studio making AAA hardcore WRPG.
I hope the g...
