You were afraid of this?
Colonial expansion and native slaughter?! Shiver me timbers!

I thought it was hyperbole when I was reading articles about this being one of the best looking games of all time. The screenshots didn’t impress me too much. But after actually playing the game last night... wow, it looks pretty damn amazing in motion. The environments are packed with detail, the lighting is superb, and it runs smooth as butter on my X. This is the most I’ve been into a Gears game since the third one back in 2011. Can’t wait to play more tonight!
This game is so addictive.
I can imagine Bully 2 with a mission where there is a school shooting...
Some people are still waiting for it, lol.

Game Pass actually increases game sales due to raised awareness and word of mouth, not to mention the discount Game Pass members get on purchases.

You save an additional $13 at checkout. I just ordered it but it says estimated delivery of Sep 14 - 24.
This is really important because the more graphically advanced games have become, the longer they seem to take to develop. Imagine if Rockstar was able to release more than one game per gen again!
I guess I’m lucky that I haven’t been affected by any of these outages.
Forza Horizon 4 released day one on Game Pass and it’s the highest rated racing game of this gen. EVERY Microsoft game releases on Game Pass day one, regardless of quality.
It’s happening right now with Control.
I love toying around with stuff like this, even if it’s not a full-fledged game. I’ve always been fascinated by physics in games, all the way back to Half-Life 2. I loved the Flatout games and now Wreckfest. Even Beam.ng. I wish there were more games built around advanced, realistic physics.
Uh, where did that come from?
"One of the cool things about Uncharted 1 is, we had no f***ing idea what we were doing," former Naugty Dog developer Lucas Pope said in a new interview with Ars Technica. "Uncharted 1 was announced, and then Gears came out. And Gears invented the modern third-person shooter. Suddenly, Gears came out and showed them how to do it. So we changed everything, six months before release."
Not everyone can afford multiple consoles.
There are many phrases I would use to describe the PS3’s online services, but “forward thinking” is definitely not one of them. PSN was slowly cobbled together like Frankenstein’s monster, having demanded features like trophies, custom soundtracks, in-game XMB, and party chat tacked on years after they were on the 360 (or never coming at all because of the way the PS3 was built).
PSN was built so archaically that the ability to change your username only just recently became...
In your opinion... best looking is an opinion. It depends what kind of art style you prefer. But the technical aspects... 4K/60 FPS is a fact. And with all those visual effects and the incredible amount of content, I don’t see it being beaten this gen. Unless TLOU2 runs at 4K/60. The question is, is the PS4 Pro capable of that?
