The new guide being horizontal is just like the Xbox 360 guide which is horizontal, its really the same thing as before just horizontal instead of vertical like it use to be set up, and the quick menu on the PS4 is a direct copy of the Xbox guide seeing its been around for 2 generations now and the PS4 got the quick guide in an update earlier this year or sometime last year. I agree. I'm in the Alpha and I wish there was a better way to report maybe features or ideas for Alpha/Beta memebers without going to the user feedback or a reddit page. As of now you really can only report a problem in the Insider Hub unless you get those quick 'tell us what you think of XYZ tab' and I let them have it.
I don't like it, worst update by far, IMO, minus Home Tab and the Guide. Game Hubs, Clubs, Community Tab, what the layout looks like on a video you clicked on to watch-- all need tweaks to font(Especially on the Community tab) and layout position. Pretty horrible comparison, imo atleast. Battlefield 3 was on Xbox 360 and PS3, it looked amazing on the PC. Things can be scalable, its been done on PC forever idk why people think its voodoo when it comes to consoles. Maybe they have a dirtier environment or an older S so there's dust baked into the vents causing less airflow so it heats up quicker. Also if you live in FL with no AC in a room with electronics it can get really hot causing the fan to do overtime like my OG One did sometimes
