I think Sony already granted the support of the Developers with ''self publishing'' on PS4.

512MB of GDDR5 is better than 1GB of DDR3.
Even if there are 7GB of DDR3 and 7GB of GDDR5, the GDDR5 outperforms the 7GB of DDR3 for graphics performance. Just imagine the difference between 7GB GDDR5 to 5GB DDR3.
If SOE really optimized Planetside 2 on the PS4 compared to the PC version with AMD CPU's, with all the graphics maxed out like they said, it will be a killer App on PS4.
Recommended settings for this game requires 8GB of RAM, a powerful CPU, 1GB GPU DX11 like a GTX 560

PS4 have 2 bundles and a standard edition in the top 10.
The PS4 Day one edition already sold out a week ago. Pretty much that $399 helped a lot.
Now Sony need to reveal those 15+ exclusives games for PS4 at Gamescom and it will boost again.
Pointing out some key features if anyone is interested on PS4 and looking to buy the PS4:
*30 First Party Exclusives games in Development, 20 of them will be released in the first year.
*40+ exclusive experiences from 3rd Party games. 100 games will be released in the first year.
*F2P Games, Media Apps, Party Chat are not behind the paywall
*Around 505 Studios are developing something for PS4 (before it was 126 studios).

Indeed, and also Titanfall is using Source Engine. There are many games using source engine on PC as you already know.
The only thing that makes me think why Xbox One is supposedly better, is because they are using the ''POWAH OF THE CLOUD'' with AI and Physics calculations, which is still remain to be seen and if that really makes a huge difference compared to the PC with all the performance.
