promoting? no.
encouraging? yes.
And not just with increasing sales prices...*cough* origin *cough*.
Whether intentional or not - I think it's very hard to come up with something truly unique nowadays.
You could say "Wow! I got this great idea! I've never seen anyone do that!" - and then you have a million fans saying: "Such a rip off from that game in 1989".
+ I think there is a clear distinction between "ripping off" and "taking inspiration" from other games.
It's done all the time - that...
Well that's not necessarily a bad thing :)
Looking forward to the sequel!
Not this again...
You just noticed that? Little slow...
Absolutely. It is high time for the gaming industry to grow up a little.
Any parents who have a problem with that - should take better care of exposing their children to suitable content.
It's not like Television or the Movie industry is any different, but compared to those - they are miles ahead of mature content - than gaming.
Of course this does not mean we should single out children or teenagers.
We can still enjoy ga...
A branching out of Steam might be welcome (if done right) - but no - it is not necessary.
Steam has to keep doing what it has been doing for the past 9 years - dominate the digital market.
The only reason Valve can take its time developing games - and has one of the most creative minds working at its company is because they can afford to.
Neither Valve nor Steam "have" to do anything - but I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a ma...
I don't know exactly why anyone would want the broken company with the broken franchises.
Sure Activision is a cash cow - but they have how many internal studios developing CoD titles now? 8?
They stick to what they know - and don't want to invest in new IP - so I wouldn't really find a lot of enthusiasm in that either.
I hate to break it - but inventing a new genre is very rare these days - and I don't necessarily agree that combining two well known genres gives birth to a completely new one. Much less one that hasn't already been explored in other games before.
On top of that - it's a subjective debate and it depends on one's perspective.
One might see Tomb Raider as an action-survival, where others might see it as an action-adventure game.
Well it was bound to happen. I always said from the very beginning - even before the game was out - that the RMAH is a very bad idea.
The people should help out in its failure, by leaving Origin.
How is this news? Ofcourse its legit. You really think MS would go into all this trouble in getting a law firm to take down the links - if it weren't legit?
I don't need any super secret sources telling me that -.-
sikbeta are you the single man who disagreed with me?
I know why: Origin! It's the cause for everything bad!
...and will fail considerably, by trying.
Consoles need: To go.
The English in that article is really strange.
oh..sorry - yea. Boobs Cry 3
Far Cry 3
