jfc of course the price matters - it's about player choice.
Seriously - this is game development / support done right.
You put a great deal of work and passion into a game and invest in it.
You set it to a reasonable price that reflects that investment and hopefully makes a return on your investment (financial and work related).
You support the game well after its been released and reward players who've bought the game with a handful of free DLC.
A lot of developers out there shou...
I don't like the new Sony CEO as much as Jack.
I don't think Microsoft is really in a position to mock Sony.
Even if this turns out to be a technical fault - it seems interesting that somewhere, someone was tinkering with the HL2 setting on Steam to have caused this.
Maybe (hopefully) some news this year - but don't count on it.
In any case - HL3 has taken so long now - it could be labeled as Vaporware.
well played Dice xD
lmao Infinity Ward said: "We all really knew we wanted to continue making Call of Duty".
Incorrect. Activision is running the show - not IW.
The only reason they are making more call of duty is because of the annual sale reports.
Activision is making sure of that.
And the only way stopping them from doing so is to stop buying CoD and not just rant about it on the internet

The Ouya tries to be different - and that's its strength. In an industry where too much focus is being put on sequels and huge franchises which have run for years - its very refreshing to see something new - even if it may fail at the end.
This is exactly the kind of thing gamers need to disprove.
absolutely not.
I game precisely BECAUSE television isn't entertaining for me.
Besides that - I browse the internet on my computer.
So essentially with the XBox One - I pay for more than I bargained for.
I'm getting a system that can play movies, browse the web, play television and allows me to switch channels through voice command and I get Kinect.
But all I actually want to do is: Play games.
Here's a question for you: As a gamer who plays games - isn't THAT the entire reason I don't watch television?
As in: If television would be so interesting - why would I game in the first place?
I game BECAUSE television isn't sufficiently entertaining for me.
So: Why would I want a platform that focuses on television?
And you might argue: Yea but it still plays games.
Well - sure it plays gam...
"Xbox: Please pre-order PS4"
Nice feature - but Microsoft: how is this helpful for someone who's the only one in the house using the Xbox?
The fact of the matter is that Microsoft has completely lost its touch of the gaming industry. They're building a true entertainment system - and 'entertainment' reaches out to things like movies, internet and television. Most gamers won't be interested in watching MTV on their XBox and most gamers won't be interested in browsing the internet on their XBox. Much less on Internet Explorer.
By focusing on the actual GAMES and the experience the GAMER will ha...
you might not like the company - but they are one of the few companies who are well versed in gaming platforms - and not only "the big three" - but other smaller platforms as well. We should be wise not to immediately dismiss what they have to say - but equally it doesn't mean everything they say is automatically true.
Not sure why I'm getting so many dislikes when various people have already said the same before me. Please explain how your new PS4 will be the best gaming PC when it releases on hardware that will be at least 1 year old at that time - while I grab some cheese.
Get a decent job :P
I'm only really taking epic's comment head on. If its all about the games - it's like they're almost complaining that PC development is holding them back (which isn't the case).
Also - yes it's about the "games" (!) - but it should be as much about the "gaming" aspect as the graphical aspect. I could've waited for the PS4 a couple of extra years if only to have game developers focused more on their games than the graphics.
you do realise this has been known for like almost 4 years now right?
