I miss the XMB already. This looks a bit flashy, and possibly advertisery, whereas the XMB is subdued and static by design, exactly that simple and elegant kind of thing that SONY professedly wants for the PS4.
edit: Plus, what would the point of custom wallpapers be with icons like billboards? It's an eyesore of multi-coloured tabloid-style vomit. I suppose the games are what's important but still...
"The internet has changed things for the better, and the old ways need to die."
Main point. At least they should starve a little.
What still eludes me is how while indie developers can make money making cheap little games, and while bigger companies can make money making extensive and expensive games, apparently only handhelds are viable platforms for which games can be developed of medium price and length.
Maybe we should ban singing, because that too can be used to redistribute copyrighted material.
On the other hand we could also let Spain write its own laws.
Hm, which way to go...?
Mathematics. Countless people have solved differential equations so you could be happy. I prithee enjoy it.
Yes, how dare they mislead people with such a stylish online advertisement?

Listen to my story. This ... may be our last chance.
Square-Enix' problem isn't that it makes too many tech-demos, but that suddenly it seems incapable of telling a riveting story through an enjoyable game. Gameplay has to be tested; maybe their reliance on tried-and-true RPG gameplay elements in their successful years made them forget that deviations from a local maximum tend lead you downwards. SE wishes to experiment but all it does is hypothesize and ignore the results. Its management will one day realize that you can't make a g...
Aside from the obvious lol and outright despair ... Square-Enix's devotion to realism (graphics-wise) is somewhat to be admired. After all, the old RPGs never particularly tried to look unrealistic, it was hardware limitations that made them so; given new hardware it makes sense to invest some substantial effort in making your fantasy worlds as believable as possible.
Sounds like a good way for Sony to sell more blu-ray burners and empty discs.
A good game (or film/book etc.) can be ruined by putting too much emphasis on emotion. It can be a cheap superficial thing, hiding the fact that the game/book/film etc. has no story, or no thought behind it. Soap dramas, thrillers, romance novels ... please keep it out of games Mr. Cage.
I love that the teeth aren't titanium white. And I love the colours in the shadows.
Though the checkout shot does look a bit HDRI-y, possibly because of this. (Well not because but iff.) Maybe high dynamic range television would be more useful than even higher definition television.
Playstation PLUS social justice lol.
I'm trying to think of some good Gackt jokes but they all turn out very mean and petty :p.
I never understood the fan in Super Smash.
Fun to read; it's like a Philip Larkin poem.
So if it's economically viable for developer-publishers to create multimillion-dollar AAA titles that sell for 60gil+DLC, and it's economically viable for indie developers to create cheap little games, then why is it suddenly impossible for anyone to take a chance on a game with a budget in between? :S
Enter 20 comments all agreeing that this man is either honestly mistaken or lying at shareholders plus the additional odd comment stating that FFXIII(-2) was the best FF ever or stating that Versus is vaporware.
(edit:nvm already happened. Thread is going fast.)

There were a few more somewhere, I think. (edit: see Ju.)
So what does that say about those 4K Killzone screenshots?
@inveni0
Bitch please. Dildos are for everyone.
