if it is not about destructible cars, then why are there so many post about it? when i mentioned that the damage is turned off and the game is set for arcade mode...it was in response to post made on that issue...not the article. nice try though
if you were speaking to me.
EDIT: SORRY kewlkat007 i meant to hit agree...not disagree...crap
you guys do know the damage has been turned off in the forza demo right?
when you finish a race, watch the replay and flip to the damage screen...where is shows the exact part effected from a crash or collision...you will see that nothing ever gets damaged.
it is in arcade mode...they have some small cosmetic damage in place for the arcade mode...doesnt effect the car one bit.
your right they can do anything they want with it...except play on LIVE.
it is just like a sports league...nfl, nba, ect...they have rules to follow if they want to play...they can't use sport enhancing drugs without getting caught eventually and punished or permanently banned from the league...
same here, you can't play with a modded xbox, because it is the rules...mods can have cheats to...they can't risk it...it would make xbox LIVE a living hell to play in fo...
ok...no they are giving you a chance to get a legal xbox and still be able to play on LIVE after you broke the rules...breaking the rules & cheating, that's low.
being that your account is still active, you could log on to xbox.com and cancel you subscription at any time.
again i say M$ showed them mercy by just banning the 360 and not their accounts.
rules are rules...they knew the risk
not picking on you Rage, just your comment brings up something that gets under my skin...so this is in no way directed to bashing you...i don't do that to people...
anyways
i guess i am getting old...but i hate the way people use sexy about everything these days...a beatiful woman is sexy...not video game equipment.
back when i was a kid you might get beat up for talking like that...
"my computer is modded...its sexy"..."what...
it is funny to read the forum the link takes you to. some understand and say we knew the risk...but most are whining and think it is unfair...wtf...M$ laid down the rules...why would they not enforce them?
And really Microsoft showed some mercy IMO...M$'s emailed response says they did not ban the accounts just the modded xbox...so they should be thankful they still can use LIVE and their accounts.(just have to have a different 360)
Those whining...what in the h...
i keep asking this with no answer...does anyone else have problems going to 1up.com?
i thought it was my computer but my work just replaced my old one with a new computer...same thing, can not get it to go to 1up.com.
and we do not have any limitation here at work where we can go...so a web blocker is not effecting this situation.
No way i am shipping my xbox for someone to paint. it would be nice to have it in black...but who in the heck knows what your 360 goes through to get there in shipping...then they probably take it apart to paint it...then the shipping back to you...no way
my 360 is safe and sound at home...not to mention playable...and no matter what color it is
you sony guys are going to love this game...pure fun
this can't be true...if it is...what country did this happen in? there is just not enough information in the article. if this was a true story it seems there would be a hell of a lot more info.
messed up if it is though.
Wow...Moore has come from all kinds of directions in life...teacher to shoe salesman to corp.VP @ M$. he wasn't just handed a nice job and good money...he really earned it. got my respect...also nice to hear he takes the time to learn the history and culture in the country he now lives.
what ever you do...don't get the store warranty. they try and sell you a one year warranty for like $50.00. but when you open up the box your 360 is in...you will find a form to fill out and send to Microsoft for a 2year warranty for the same price of $50.00.
so for the same price you get a extra year with M$.
i also have had no issues. launch day 360.
it is fun to watch these companies battle it out to win us over...competition...it is win win for us gamers.
well except EA...they are anti-competition.
i am sure the PS3 is worth it or is going to be worth it down the road...but personally that blog did nothing to sway me. it kind of did the opposite.
i just wish these games would go back to the more mob style of things. i like more of the criminal underworld element than gang stuff.
fun game...i just hope you can turn up the difficulty...it is too easy to win(and i have all the assist turned off)...but wow it handles so real. i am for sure getting the steering wheel now.
cant wait to dig into the paint schemes to.
better off i say...Saints Row was a step in the right direction. It was good enough to spur competition with the makers of GTA.
which in theory will make the two try and out do each other...while we, as gamers, get all the benefits of competition. EA *cough*cough*
anyway...i say better off because Saints Row really was their first step into this type of game. And if i was someone who did not get to play the first one...Saints Row2 would be a better game to be introduc...
again...there is damage that reflects a more realistic look...but the demo is in arcade mode.
light looking damage with no effect for the demo...when the retail version comes out and you can opt to play the sim settings it will be different than the arcade setting.
