Let’s say for example I buy a Halo 3 or Shadowrun (2007) game but don't have XBOX Live part of the game will be missing and in Shadowrun's case all of the game is gone.

On the PlayStation 3 let’s say I buy Killzone 2 or M.A.G. but don't have PSN Plus I can still experience the full game.

The only thing people are mainly complaining about is "cross game chat" in *my opinion* is one of the stupidest features a device can have. What's t...

"Rabid Sony fanboys said there was no need to have the feature - just buy another PS2 if you wanted to play your old games." - Bro Buzz, GamePro

This to me makes sense because why would they keep backwards capabilities if the PS2 is still selling? The other systems have it, but the predecessors are discontinued. What I don't understand is why re-buy the collection, are gaming journalist that slow? Like the PSP Go is to attract new comers, not for people to re-bu...

I find this sentence kind of funny:

"Unfortunately there’s fine print. A catch. An enormous one—if at any point you let your [PlayStation Plus] subscription lapse, you lose all of the stuff you previously got for free."

- Chris Vandergaag, Toronto Sun

Since this is a Torontonian I'll keep the analogies Canadian, lol. So when subscribing to Rogers Digital Cable channel package(s), what do you - Chris Vandergaag - think hap...

How do you know that the Move isn't as good if not better than the original controller, if not released yet?

Do you realize the PlayStation Plus is optional, so you can keep doing what you're doing as if the service didn't exist?

The original PlayStation Network is untouched, so you can play online for free instead of being forced to pay for online to experience the full potential of your purchases if it supports online play.

That’s what’s really genius about the strategy is that it’s optional to those who want it, and for those who don’t buy too much digita...

XBOX Live isn't a real P2P network, it's a switched network, it makes a difference. If it was a P2P there would be no point of paying for it, lol? You have to remember Microsoft charges because of the network topology, not for the features if offers.

Haven't you played online with XBOX before?

With 3D compatible TVs, it is an option and I can see the future having 3D as a *standard option* not a *standard setting*. 3D will never be mandatory because not everyone has two working eyes and not everyone can handle 3D usually due to their low blood pressure, seizure (Epilepsy), and many other medicate conditions that can prevent or cause people to function or not to function properly.

Lastly, when something is more of an option you will get fewer complaints because they...

That's the reason why you pay, because Microsoft is hosting it so it can be expensive with millions of players at once.

That's an opinion not a fact, that's the kind of comments that start arguments on this website. It's your opinion that you *think* realism takes away the fun, while others may *think* realism adds to the fun. What's fact is that it's *subjective to each individual*, and to the developer hoping that enough people like realism over simplistic games because realism adds to the level strategy/thinking.

If you really think nudity doesn't lead to sexual thoughts/activities you're sadly mistaken. This is what you call, what comes natural to us adults in an unnatural setting.

A good example of this would be cockfights - no point intended - what comes natural to the animal in an unnatural setting. Perverts have to start somewhere?

Most if not all casual games require one Move or even two at the most, so getting the bundle with the game at $99.99 will be enough for the targeted audience. Also remembering the hardcore games work with the standard dual-shock controller anyways. It's more expensive for the hardcore than the casual.

So are they trying to sell Kinect as a new remote because people keep losing their handheld remotes? Basing this on Microsoft's history of pricing this will most likely be around the $199.99 mark with the HDD, just so we can have a hands free remote, lol?

Do I have this wrong and am reading this the wrong way?

You do realize that you're comparing 3D with a hand-held to a home console? 3D, on a hand-held would be easier without glasses due to the size of the console. Basically it would be like the SIXAXIS technology, but then again I haven't seen it with my own eyes.

As soon as I read, "but the most impressive looking games at E3 2010 in my opinion were multiplatform games." by Ahmad Dajani there is no point to looking at the rest but luckily the rest was only videos, lol.

I think a lot of *people* said the XBOX 360 is maxed out because it is well known from developers that the XBOX 360 is easier to develop for, yet with the least quality games in the library. There is too many replicas with the XBOX 360 *exclusives* while on an...

I would have to disagree with you in the sense of not seeing a difference with Halo 3 versus a high definition game. I would say Halo 3 and Fable 2 would have to be one of the worst looking games to ever grace my TV screen. If you couldn't tell, I wouldn't say anything, but you can tell and looks outdated. It would help if you mentioned a game that looks alike that is in HD, besides that you can tell lol?

I'm not a "Halo Hater" but Halo looked good standing alone until you compare it to Killzone 3, Crysis, Crysis 2, F.E.A.R. 3, Socom 4, and many other games announced. After looking at the competition, Halo: Reach should have been Halo 3, but times have changed since then and it seems like it's the equivalent of Halo 3 today because graphics have improved since then.

To be on equal playing fields, they would have to vastly improve on the graphics they have now...

“Another big draw back is the fact that this free content that you're paying for, isn't really yours.”

- Cory Appleton

This basically means that paying for it individually is different than subscribing to it, but that’s what a subscription is, a rental service. I’m wondering if that’s the full demo feature Sony was talking about or the one free game/add-on downloading feature they were talking about?

Every so often Cory Appleton puts ...

lol, finally someone on this website actually looks at facts and applies it to all companies. People also said that it attracted finger prints, like it means anything and now like you said, "It's cool [on the XBOX 360]"?

When showing the console, it's just a PlayStation 3 design style without the "kinect ready" and Blu-ray of course. Now people will say, "XBOX 360 has everything built-in and it's better than buying things separate" lol.

Long story short, I think people will change their opinions about "built-in" isn't as bad as it seems for those who thought it wasn't worth it? Now this just shows that the PlayStation 3 is future proof, in my eye...
