I don't understand the focus so much on this game (Gran Turismo 5); Star Craft 2 was in development for around a decade without any controversy, so it can't be the development time, right?
You would think that makes sense, but most of these popular websites don't play games anymore. I don't think they realized how bad they looked by doing this because some internet video proved them wrong to a degree.
I honestly think if it was on the XBOX 360 the promise would be more realistic. From what I remember Alan Wake and Splinter Cell Conviction was in development as long as this game, if not close to it?
Lol, the internet does the darndest things at times, I still haven't got a copy yet, so the reviews won't phase me at all. You never know what to believe, it even had me going, lol?

It's the logic that people are complaining about, and the inconsistency, so if a less inferior game gets a high score a quality game should get higher. As with the current reviews, their main argument was that the damaging models are poor and inconsistent graphics.
The argument isn't justified to a certain degree because it's a graduated damage modeling, so for less experienced players won't be suffering with payments for crashing to...

So games like Ridge Racer 7 is a better game than Gran Turismo 5 because it has a stable frame rate at 1080p at 60 FPS or what's going on all at once while keeping a good enough frame rate that an average person won't see weighs in?
I think this site needs to take into consideration of the whole picture and not just a sliver. To me it's like animating an asteroid with 1080p resolution, top of the line graphics, moving backgrounds, and moving space creators on the piece of rock versus a basic asteroid floating in space. The more that's on screen the more calculations that are needed thus increasing the chances of miscalculations.
The things people complain about are so minor and most of them don&...
Now that's a real questions, especially with a game that has over 1,000 cars how can the game be reviewed in a day even with the online portion only released yesterday?
So with all the positive and negative reviews don't have substance, but than again people gave high reviews for Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3: Las Vegas with both having major problems, hell in the Fallout 3 the beginning had a bug that didn't let you pass the classroom test.
At th...
To be honest both games look funny in the screen-shots, why isn't their actual game-play comparisons?
To me this isn't that reliable, it's like this person is just reviewing as he goes, changing statement after statement? To me this just good to see how it runs than his statements, lol.
I think the comment steams from last generation, because Sony did exactly what Microsoft is doing with the Eye Toy and wasn't as popular. Now with Microsoft they are coming out with very similar games if not the same and is getting praised. There was even a kinect game for the PlayStation 3 doing the exact same things, lol.
This is all due to Nintendo Wii bringing attention to the cusual audience that Sony couldn't get last generation.
Lol, you caught that too, when I first saw it I thought it was a joke.
Most people that I know say it's the same because of the lack of the controller, whether it's 3D, 6D, or 20D you're still limited to what you can do unless they overcome the limitations of a controller free design?
For example driving, I know they have shown this, but how do you accelerate, shift gears, look around especially the rear. If they even do find a way, it won’t be as precise or accurate as a controller with buttons on it. Some games incorporate flying l...
Lol, I find your comment funny because no matter what is said, GT5 isn't even released, so how can anybody be playing it?
..I would rather have a game to be delayed than to have multiple installments with minor upgrades. I just hope their is a deep customization to all the other stuff that's confirmed.
What's ironic of your comment is that even though it's the hardest to develop for, why haven't the best games come from the easier to develop platforms?
Now that's a real question that needs to be answered, is anyone willing to attempt?
What are you talking about XBOX 360 use to be $499.99 at launch and the PlayStation 3 was $599.99. This pretty much goes for every generation of consoles when they initially price their products?
Thing to with the Move they can also make is gesture based because I think Fight: Lights Out is gestured based. So I don't understand why this would even be a problem if it can be controlled?
I was just thinking about the same thing when I saw that comment. There are like four Halo games, two Froza games, three Fables, and two Left 4 Dead games (within a year) in this generation.
...if fighting games are too fast for Kinect, how will Star Wars light-saber duals be any better? I honestly think most of the "amazing videos" Microsoft showed wasn't real-time because the movements were pretty fast.
The only two things that seem off putting was the A.I. and damage modeling argument because with the A.I. the player ran into the A.I.. As with damage modeling, they didn't really seem to talk about the different levels of damaging but I guess they had to stay consistent with the 2 minute in review they initially made, lol.
