My fav game of 2010. I enjoy many action games, FPSs, etc., but it's stuff like this, Portal, ICO, etc., that I live for. I too am a bit sick of space marines.
I'm hoping Cage will top even this with his next project.
Great series, but seriously, that cover is crap.
Funny since GI is known for great cover art.
I love Cage's question: "can you tell a story without a gun in your hand?"
Cage is one of the few developers who treats adult gamers like, well, adults!
So glad to see that Heavy Rain was very well received. Hopefully we'll see even better from him in the future.
This is what I signed up to gaming for.
Thank you, Rockstar. Day 1.
A weekly face-off for the console war?
Oh, how original!
Oh, how valuable!
Oh, such a contribution!
Oh, how this will aid our appreciation of gaming culture!
Seriously, fuck off with this shit. It's beyond old, it doesn't work and it's a waste of time.

And this is why when Ken talks, I listen.
His recent panel at GDC was fantastic.
And that's what creativity and soul gives you.
Hear that big corporate publishers!?!?!
I have the original PS2 copies for both, but still am buying this. ICO castle in HD? Yes please.
PS I scanned and translated the castle map for those interested: http://img29.imageshack.us/...
Just checked the Canadian App store and it's not there, dammit.
At any rate, definitely check out The Rascal webseries -- bloody hilarious.
Personally I found ME1 much better as an RPG -- actual vehicular exploration, better (ie., numerous) upgrades (which were watered down in ME2).
ME2 was great, but ME1 still takes the prize for me.
But Demon's Souls is still my fav this gen.
Playing the PC version on Steam with settings on max. Hot damn it's pretty, but also with suprizingly great environments. The story is lame -- nothing out of the ordinary for FPSs -- but solid 8-9/10 game for me.
I just wish there were better graphic settings (suprizingly absent for a Crysis game!)
Yep, that sums it up pretty well actually.
We're beginning to see creative indie stuff like Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery on mobile platforms that are NOT for the casuals but us. We will see more and more of this in the future. This stuff is as legit as my games on my PC and PS3.
Plenty of room for everybody.
But Sony directly funds new creative IPs. This is the major difference between the two companies, and therefore Sony's "milking" is much more balanced that that of MS.
GT5 has both quality and quantity -- best of both worlds. You can't deny it.
Like nearly all video game movies, I suspect this project will turn out to be more of a HALO: LANDFILL.
Hardy har. I kill myself.
This guy isn't feeding on my tears, but rather drinking my piss.
Gimme Move support! Wii version was awesome. This will be better. And while I'm at it, Kinect sucks, har har.
Great read. I especially like how people have become attached to certain game characters as though on TV due to the realism of performance.
