It has to be SUPER good. Not to change or "save" Xbox because, as Phil Spencer said, even if it is 11/10, it will not make a difference in the console war, but it has to be good in order to not add even more negativity to the already bad situation Xbox is facing.

I keep saying, remember the PS3 era? Sony was on red while Xbox was ruling supreme. Sony took the fight with games and they won. They did the hard work, why Xbox doesn't want to do the hard work?

I stopped following Dualshockers after that Redfall review. Totally out of place and ignoring the obvious flaws. Even Phil Spencer apologized for Redfall and Dualshockers gave it a 8.5?

Deal is dead. MS can try whatever they want. One thing is clear, by the reaction of Xbox and its community, they don't believe there is a future for Xbox without Activation.
Not only that but we now have details of those "10 years deals" being deceitful and full of greed.
A certain group believes this is about Sony and that MS can win an appeal but this is way beyond Sony. There are many companies who opposed the deal.
Bought my PS5 pre order after seeing all the positive reviews. Also, I liked the first one too.
If Microsoft had the same passion for making games as their passion to pursue this deal, they would be on a better position right now.
They can appeal but chances of reverting it are almost impossible. They should rather focus on their Xbox division.
They also have to pay 3 billion to Activision for the case being blocked.
The CMA said they saw no danger in the console market for this deal. This is why everyone though the deal was going to be approved but no one saw it coming that the deal was going to be blocked because of the cloud gaming part which ,like the CMA says, Microsoft has a huge advantage already and would cause an unfair advantage.

A huge plot twist. Everyone thought the deal was going to be approved. Microsoft even decided to go ahead even bypasssing the FTC ( which was as very ugly move).
At the end, justice was served. Now Microsoft has to actually work for their Xbox brand instead of trying to pay to win. They brought this to themselves.
Just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean you can call it a bad move.
They can try but the decision was already made and also, there is the FTC and the Europeans.
