Same. I'm still on Unicorn Overlord. I might save this for summer, when I can play all night and really dive deep.

I tried to buy straight from Nintendo. I signed up for the prebuy.

I got an email yesterday saying I could buy it after launch. After they talked all that shit about avoiding scalpers.

Correct. I put in my interest. Had the Nintendo account since conception. No email to avoid scalpers.

Thanks Nintendo, for nothing.

He's not wrong. There are talented, great devs who made games then quit because of online vitriol from a tiny group of shitstirrers.

Wow, you hate a game you couldn't possibly have played yet. Or you hate a game that you couldn't possibly have played. How original.

Normal people (because you never hear from them) when they don't like a game, don't care and move on. They don't waste their time talking shit about it.

How do you know what he said about Concord when you joined 48 minutes ago.

You're a sad, sad person who was banned years ago but continues to create fake accounts.

Good.

Why are you acting like someone is forcing you to buy/ play them?

The Division.

I try to find them.

You can do the same for consoles. It's not either/or. PC and consoles are doing quite well.

Many people game on both.

*And "player numbers" on N4G don't mean anything. One week it's all that matters to determine the success or failure of a game. And the next week it doesn't matter, sales do. Then sales don't matter (and this is a direct quote) because people are "buying out of habit."

Console gaming isn't dead though.

The only thing they did wrong, what many companies do wrong, is release or even talk to garbage journalists who shit on everything.

You have not played the game but yet you, Grant Taylor-Hill, have already determined that they've done things wrong.

It's just the next game to hate. Just like when journos tried to trash AC Shadows.

You're another clown trying to get clicks.

This article is fake. Consoles are dead despite them selling more than ever?

60d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

What utter crap. Consoles selling more than ever. But don't let facts get in your way.

Like The Division but with extractions outside the DarkZone.

Games in early access are in early access.

"AI" is not delivering what is being promised. It's a honeypot and people are going to lose billions (some already are).

The fake articles that proclaim its wonders are just advertising.

Will it continue to exist? Yes. But it's impact will be more akin to 3D printing (that didn't revolutionize manufacturing nor medicine).

Eternal Strands, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Midnight Walk, and South of Midnight are all under $50.

The hate brigade really wants Switch 2 to fail. It won't, but the articles proclaiming things that aren't true are starting to pace the articles that contain facts.

Reminds me of AC Shadows.

The haters will make claims without evidence, then when the success supported by evidence inevitably comes they'll move goalposts and insult the intelligence of those who bought it. Or (and this is a direct quote) they'll say that people just "b...

They're not saying that to everyone. They're saying that to Americans because of the tariffs.

Context: Nintendo of America, in reaction to the tarriffs that could drive the price of the Switch 2 above what people can afford said, "We recognize there are some people that may not be able to afford [the Switch 2's] price point. That's why we wanted to make the other Switch platforms available, so [people] still have an opportunity to come into our gaming ...
