I thought about getting into PC gaming, but then I realized all the best games come out for console only.

There's not much left to play on PC except for all the different generic first person shooters (which I really, really getting sick of). Plus, not every game supports a controller.

GTA IV is the best game this gen. DUH!
I like Uncharted's platforming. I want to feel at ease when I'm playing a video game. I don't wanna get frustrated because I have to figure out a bunch of different button presses to scale a wall or worry about messing up and falling to my death time after time.

Infamous 2 is the first game I loved that involved special powers. I usually tend to play games with realism. GTA, Red Dead, Skate, CoD (yes, it's arcade-like but it's still based on real things).
I hate how lots of sites think that the Uncharted 3 cutscenes are in-game graphics. These are PRE-RENDERED movies at a MUCH HIGHER DETAIL LEVEL than the playable in-game graphics.
Naughty Dog has even said this themselves.
If you're going to compare graphics... compare actual in-game graphics. Not cutscenes!

It seems like this gen is really lacking in game quality in general. Unfinished games being released... buggy games... poor graphics... bad gameplay.

I tend to agree. The maps are terrible. I never know where I am in these damn maps because everything looks the same.

Uncharted and Infamous... best games I've ever played.
The only games I have for my XBox 360... Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops because that's all the 360 is good for.
Everything else goes to PS3. It's definitely the best console to own.

Sorry to say, but Battlefield 3 is not realistic. Graphics are pretty nice, but it's not realistic in the slightest.
It sucks that people still think that graphics are what make a game good or not.
This game reminds me a lot of Infamous 1 and that game was fun as hell, but the graphics were pretty poor.
It looks better than a PS2 game.... heck it looks better than a PS2 HD remake.

TLOU was pre-rendered (just like most of the really good looking cut scenes in Uncharted 2 and 3. The cut scenes use in-game engine except they tweak it a bit to look better than the actual in-game graphics. Then they render it into a movie file and put it on the Blu-ray. If I ever lost the email or password to my account, there goes all my games. If my account got hacked, there goes all my games.
If my hard drive dies (they all do) how fun would it be to re-download all if your games again. Plus, some games like Uncharted 3 use an entire blu-ray disc with movie cutscenes that take a lot of space. You'll never see Uncharted 2, 3 or Killzone 3 single player campaigns as a digital download.

What I'm saying is that most people don't even know what 60fps is. They just know that CoD feels different, faster or smoother.
Ask a CoD fan what he likes about the franchise and I bet they don't say anything about 60fps.
By the way, I like 60fps... but I'm kinda a tech-head.
