as far as matchmaking. wow. bungie are super good at matchmaking.
i'll take a game like uncharted2. than a game with good matchmaking. cause thats about all that game has going for it.

theres ways around the texting charges. especially if you hack it man. and i don't care what anybody says. there isn't a phone better than the iphone. not a hacked phone anyways. and 30 for internet is a bit but i use it so much that it's worth it
i pay 20 bucks a month for unlimited text for the iphone. so i wouldn't mind not spending that. even though i can afford it. and that's 20 bucks per phone. me and my wife. 40 bucks. so i wouldn't mind getting it for free

if you were making a game, wouldn't you want it to have it's own distinct feel?
any good gamer should be able to adapt to the controls in five minutes.
but this game will no doubt be a great racer. if i had a 360 as well as my ps3 i'd def get forza as well.
as far as certain features your right it does lack a few. but i'll take this layout with the xmb and the new additions they added. over the nxe any day.
don't mistake that with me downplaying xgame chat or a party feature. i'll jump for joy when we get those.
but the new look of the xbox in my opinion is super lame. and i can't stand it.
i love the simplicity of the xmb. and i love how they incorporated the changes.
