It's going to be interesting to see how differently games run on each system. I'd imagine that most devs would rather add more effects/physics/etc rather than optimizing for 60fps
Not to mention you can overclock the gtx780 to get close to Titan performance
So what happens if you install the game and stay offline? Does it deactivate after a certain period of time? I think despite the console not being "always online" anyone who doesn't connect will have a mess of problems to deal with
So far nothing is confirmed so I just tagged it to all Sony platforms
Gran Turismo will never be on PC while Project CARS will most likely make its way to Sony's platform
I've got a 6770m. Does a decent job at playing games. I get around 30fps with most things maxed besides AA and 45-60 on high
@Linsolv Diablo 3 is coming to console so that argument holds no weight. And Amnesia? Really? If you're using that game as an excuse to back up PC exclusivity then you've already lost
I guarantee you will need to spend more than 2.5x the cost of the consoles in graphics cards to get the same graphical fidelity(as PS4/Next Xbox) @1440p.
I like how you can see the "Ivar's" sign in the pic where he's looking at his hands. It will be fun to wreak havok in a replica Seattle
Didn't devs only use up that amount of space because they doubled the data for faster read speeds?
Says the guy with cum on his face
Yeah and I can get 30fps in any game at that resolution @1440p on my shitty 6750m as long as I turn all the settings to low. I can see that you're trying to make a point but if you're gonna troll you need to put all your chips in kid.
"with the high-end PC and next-gen it's going to be really, really close, honestly"
He never touches on detail, he makes it sound like the only difference(if there will be one) would be the inclusion of some special tech, like TressFX or something similar. The fact that the PS4 and "high-end PC" versions look almost identical is impressive.
This isn't even coming from Epic, this website is quoting an article that made observations about the tech demo running on the PS4(which may or may not have been rushed/unoptimised) so what's the big deal? DF is entitled to their opinions but the title is very misleading.
Either way, I'm looking forward to the PS4. I've been using my PC(i7 AMD 6770m)a lot lately to play multiplat games (because they do look significantly better), but it will be nice to have s...
@red2tango Did you ever learn math? It's 2x per side(horizontal and vertical), so 4x over all
One of the reports this week said that the GPU would have 1.84 Tflops not including power allocated for compute, so I think that puts it more in line with a 7870

Taking what I understand from the rumors the engines allow simultaneous feed like the UI, overlays(think skype), and games to run simultaneously without taking up a signigficant amount of hardware power. Technologically it's an incredibly cool concept, but it reinforces the ideas that MS are going for a more all-inclusive console rather than a pure gaming machine(which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
The end of the trailer only showed ps3 and Xbox as platforms. If its coming out on PC then it will also come out on next gen consoles since none of those we're listed either.
EDIT: Spelling
There is a dedicated chip for processing so deva don't have to implement it. Sony said the only games that won't support remote play will be move games and domes that require the light tracking on the new dualshock
MS let it slip during the post reveal tech roundtable
