I agree 100% ... when it was a closed beta I thought this game wouldnt go anywhere, I was really not expecting it to go above and beyond like it did.
This game is the ultimate FPS/MMO experience, oh and it's Free.
I dont think this game will last very long ... but thats just me. It didnt hold my interest at all, and I was anticipating its release.
Still my favorite RPG...I enjoyed everything about it.
I love this game...the amounts of ways you can branch out your character are insane, so many specializations ... if you havent tried it i suggest giving it a shot, it's free.
graphics push killed RPGs, but other genres can thrive.
MUCH better...MUCH MUCH better. When I played the closed beta when it first released i was completely turned off by the game...but with every update since then theyve fixed a lot of what was wrong and continue to try and fix things.
I'm happy with the game needless to say.
Im a huge Insomniac fan and have always respected them as a developer ... but I have to say this trailer didnt excite me one bit. It left me wondering about that giant guy in the background blasting away ... like "wtf is that guy?" but aside from that it just looked very "default" to me.
I'll gamefly it for sure though, hopefully ill be pleasantly surprised.
If the team behind this game can't bring back the old school magic then no one in Squareenix can and they will have failed one final time. This is the last hope for this company to show any kind of competence. Many have already bailed and forgotten them, kind of like me, but i still am willing to try this game if it ever comes out. I'd owe it to myself as a gamer.
This game is pretty damn good, im not going to preach and preach to make people like it though, if you dont like it then you dont like FPS games that actually require tactics and skill, not just on the battlefield but also when it comes to building your character.
If you hated it cause you tried the beta when it first came out (like me), then you're doing yourself a disservice not trying it again, because I went back to it 2 months ago and it's miles better than it us...
This game isnt for people who like CoD twitch shooting with no need for skill or vision on how to build a character.
Stick to the baby shooters :) leave the complicated ones alone, dont hurt your pretty little head over it.
You definitely havent played this game...because most of what you just said is FALSE tony. I play this game everyday, and it's amazing.
I've been playing this game since the beta first released. I stopped for a few months because of the constant resets, but they finally stopped resetting skill points so i started again 2 months ago. It's a GREAT game...thats all I can say without writing an essay-long review.
Edit: Also, the game supports Mouse + Keyboard...and reminds of of Counterstrike when I play. It's very very nostalgic for me personally, since I dont really play PC games much. Mouse an...
Ill buy a 3DS for that game alone. They have my money already.
im pretty certain that if all these things about the next XBox end up being true ... it's safe to say that the people that actually buy it are either diehard brainwashed fanboys, or clueless casual gamers.
I agree.
Neotribe is obviously a 12year old that can't grasp the concept of patience and playing safe.
The game is hot. I played it to NEAR plat, and now i will get the plat for sure!!!
It's only hard for people who are impatient and have no common sense.
It's the most refreshing title ive played in a long time, along with Demon's Souls.
For them to deviate from this formula and try to make this game more "casual friendly" would destroy the series for me. I hope they dont add difficulty settings or drop the difficulty in future titles.
I just started playing Sleeping Dogs a few days ago, and it very much reminds me of Shenmue. Lots of influences were taken from there for sure. Cant wait to hear more about this rumor...but not going to get excited because it is a rumor after all.
To some people, buy the game to play again isnt really worth it ... but the trophies give that little bit of incentive to make people get it. I admit i loved FFX, but i wouldnt replay it if it didnt have the trohpies. Trohpies add a challenge to any game, and I enjoy challenges.
God forbid someone tells it like it is...dont get offended, lets wait til E3 to see if they can bounce back from this.
