A pc can be used for anything you want to use it for, a pc wasn't made for the sole purpose of being used as a musical instrument, but you'd be hard pressed to not find one used in any major music studio in the world. A pc is as valid as a gaming device as a console is, the difference is a console can do far less.
If a pc wasn't a gaming device it wouldn't have been used for gaming for decades. The first video games were made on guess what....
...
You can play games on pcs Hicken, it is a gaming device. So much crap spoken in here 'A pc isn't a gaming device, duhhhh....'
I have more games on my pc than I do on my consoles, it is the ultimate gaming device in my house.
You're right Hicken, 3ds actually sold over 50k, not 39k, outselling the Vita by 20k. Thanks for clearing that up. Good boy.
@abzdine
If I've got a choice between playing my ps4 with a ds4 or a Vita I will take the ds4 every time, I'd take the ds3 every time as well.
My experience of the Vita thumb sticks tell me they are okay for playing games on the go, in a fashion. But I'd never choose to play my ps4 games with them except for the remote play options.
It might hurt some peoples feelings, but I personally think the Vita thumb sticks are shockingly ba...
A man gets tired of seeing someone use the same crap line over and over again. A man hopes the user will just talk like everyone else and forget he made a gimmick of a username and just speak like he would in real life.
'As for controls, touch screens are no more limiting than mouse input.'
That's false. A decent mouse has far more control than any touch screen out there. The precision of a mouse is a night and day difference with touch screen, there's no comparison.
I suppose they are for hamsters with a gaming habit.
The d-pad's alright, but the thumb sticks are crap.
So you call selling over 30 million for the n64 horribly? In business it's called 'Making a profit'. The Gamecube sold over 20 million, which also made them a healthy profit.
More importantly for myself, both the N64 and Gamecube had some classic games made for them, you might have heard of some of them as they are hailed as some of the greatest and most influential games ever made.
The first syllable of your name sums you up well.
What the hell has that got to do with Skyrim?
'All the games you mention are also on ps3 and 360 as well. '
Well duh, they are talking about 3rd party games.
:/
New Zealand has a population of around 4 and a half million people, so the market is so small I doubt they're worried too much.
Besides, they've made so much from the Wii, and the 3ds and the ds, that they will have more than enough money to keep them afloat if the Wii U isn't successful.
All these foolish doom and gloom comments about Nintendo going out of the console business is quite laughable really.
The only hilarious thing about Splinter Cell Conviction is how the development team thought looping conversations was a good thing. You walk past people and they talk about the same thing over and over again, totally breaks any sort of immersion.
I like local multiplayer, I prefer it to online. I'm sure there are enough games you can play online with someone, I'm not sure that there are enough games you can play offline against someone though.
I had a glitch the other night where Joels hair turned white. I was hiding behind a wall, and for a moment in the animation it would happen. It looked quite freaky. I've had a few instances where people would walk through walls.
It's an amazing game but it has got its fair share of bugs.
I did a job in Cockfosters last year.
Yep.

Lol, yeah Technician Ted was one of my favourite games when it came out. And Crash was my favourite Speccy mag, well along with Your Sinclair I suppose.
I still had a pile of Crash, Your Sinclair and Sinclair User magazines that were piled a few feet high until a few years ago when my missus insisted I needed to get rid of them.
I miss those days when they had cover tape wars lol, they were giving away tons of games in the end.
Good times :)...
Respawning enemies.
Yeah I remember those days well, although it was a Spectrum I had. Worse thing was when you waited ages for it to load and then it didn't because it was a bad copy.
EDIT:For the ones out there not old enough to have seen, this was the kind of thing we had to endure before we could play a game -

Who cares about MP when it comes to Tomb Raider? The SP was all that mattered and it was great.
