exactly! there are some minor lipsync issues and on certain characters the lips/teeth in general kind of look wierd.
and I've already noticed in 1.04 that the lipsync doesn't seem to be anywhere near as bad like it was the first week.
The character animations and other character associated problems effect the "immersion"
Even with combat and the exploration components of the game... I would be able to take anything serious.
I wouldn't even known what the hell was going on because the shitty ass characters would zap the immersion away... I would just be sitting their laughing my ass off...
I mean in a game like this the characters are extremely freaking ...

I'm also pretty sure I read an article from Guerrilla somewhere saying that at a certain point they couldn't add anything new...
they talked about how the game was basically done and ready for the long process of being polished for release... I believe they said something like 18 months or so... So that's 18 months of Guerrilla only being allowed to polish the gameplay and stuff they already had. even ...

This new Mass Effect game looks like absolute shit if you compare to the eyes and facial animations of Horizon Zero Dawn.
I mean the side characters and main characters and NPCS in HZD are so damn engaging it's almost not even funny. I mean it's like you are really there and can feel every ounce of the emotion that the chracters are portraying.

I never got into the original ME trilogy.. I own it on PS3 (the full collection edition) but I only played ME 1 for a few hours or so.
