PS5 at launch and maybe XSX later when it gets cheaper/has decent exclusive games apart from Halo/Gears/Forza. Second point there is non-negotiable.
The review bombing started literally after an hour the game launched. You're telling me all those users who started hitting metacritics within the first hour got a time machine, played the whole game (which ND says only a few percent have completed yet) and went to Metacritics to shit on it? Let me guess you believe the earth is flat and the moon landing never happened as well correct?

BC can only give you some wind during the first couple of years. A console gen lasts 6-7 years. Touting it as a 'game changing' feature is laughable. Also, it isn't as if the competition isn't gonna support to the same features.

This is what many don't realize actually counts at the end of the gen. No one is gonna remember a gen by the amount of games you played but based off the quality of games. I loved Sony's strategy of focusing on quality > quantity. Most their studios launch 1-2 games/gen and they make sure they knock it out of the park. That is what creates hype.

Looks like a PS3 game
Easily the most fun FPS I've played this gen. It takes a bit getting used to the plethora of options you have but once you get a hang of it, just feels like an amazing ballet. It reminds me of games like Bloodbourne or GOW, where the basics are pretty easy but that extra bit of steep curve mastery is what differentiates you from being invincible to being demon fodder. Loving every second of the game.
PS3 was launched a whole year later and was sold at a higher price. Yet the PS3 outsold the 360 in the long run. This won't be the case here with both consoles releasing at the same time and probably a cheaper/equivalent price point for the PS5.
Then why even care about releasing a next gen console now? Release it in a year or two when you actually can sunset the Xbox One X. Who in their right mind thinks this is a good idea? The whole point of a 'next' gen console is to have games that aren't possible on previous gen hardware.

EA destroyed Mass Effect first for this game. Wow! The concept is great. I love the Ironman meets Avatar world look but the game could have succeeded if they went with a full fledged single player RPG but they went for a MMO where they can nickel and dime users... Lo and behold this shit!
Both consoles have around a 16-17% delta in power. To put it into perspective, the PS4 vs XB1 was a 40% difference and the PS4 Pro vs X1X was a 30% difference flipped. There will be a slight advantage, but people expecting 30FPS PS5 titles to magically run at 60FPS on the XSX are setting themselves for a disappointment.
