I agree. I hope they keep a strong single player campaign rather than gimping it in favor of a story mode that basically forces you to play with a second person.
I really recommend it, it's a really fun game!
I might have included Final Fantasy Tactics, if only because so many SPRGs after it have basically been copies of it in some way.
I've really come to admire Atlus during this gen. What they've been doing with RPGs just reminds me of Square back in the good old days. I really think they're my favorite Publisher/Developer as of late.
I agree. I've loved more than a few games in the past deemed as lowly. Conan for instance is, despite its flaws a great game that I love, and as of late I've been finding a lot of the big developers aren't entertaining me as much as the smaller, newer guys are.
Retail can be frustrating and I agree that with the deals you can find online it makes little sense to go to the store anymore.
Part of the problem I guess is that I still like browsing in stores. I go to my local Gamestop almost weekly, often just to look around. The staff there actually know me by name not because we've ever had a formal introduction but because I've done so much business there.
Add to that my general impatience when waiting for packages to sh...
Yeah, I hav Sega Genesis Collection on my PSP... I have no need for this.
We actually covered FEAR when the Bargain Bin was still running. Yeah, it's really affordable, though the PS3 version looks really lousy.
We need more games with personality out there instead of just the constant been there done that multiplayer games that are becoming the norm.
The Wii sucks because Nintendo just isn't putting out the software it used to. Mario for me is synomynous with exploitation games nowadays. Mario Party has hit what number now? How well did Mario and Sonic at the Olympics sell? The most innovative thing they've done recently is the Wii controller and then they haven't really done anything much with them. It's annoying to play with the damn thing and when a game allows it, many people choose to use the classic or Gamecube control.
See this is exactly what I'd like to see. I couldn't care less about a sexual depiction of homsexuality. Honestly, an emotional one would be more interesting and beneficial to me.
Did you ever choose to straight? No? Well I suppose you can be cured of that...
I actually think it's great that Fable 2 includes the same-sex option. It's a great step forward and I'd love to see more games do something like this.
The fact remains though that you have the choice to pursue this whereas I've never seen a game that robs you of story choice focus on this issue. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a great, but if I want to play it I have no choice but to deal with the Rachel's tits. Where is it written that only heterosexual stories can be forced upon us?
Lol, that would be nice too wouldn't it.
I really do think gaming is too stuck in a 1980s view of what sexuality and action has to be. All the heroes are huge and too many women are helpless. It would be a bit nice if some maturity could make it's way into more games.
Yes, but why are teenage boys so homophobic? It isn't just some natural phase of life they go through, it's something they are taught by the standards of masculinity that are deemed appropriate by society and media.
Games with positive images of homosexuality probably will be met with resistance, especially amongst that demographic, but I think this goes beyond doing something that is business practical. This is an issue of what is morally right.
Looks great. I always thought RPGs were the best genre for the PSP.
Looking forward to the K2 DLC. Isn't is supposed to be free?
Now if only was for the PS3.... :(
Perfect Dark remake huh? Could be cool. The 64 game was pretty sweet.
Na na na na na na na na na BATMAN!
