I'm sure the PC community is gonna create offline mods for this game lol
Fuck always online. Can't wait till the PC community creates offline mods for The division and destiny.
Thy brought in John Gonzalez last year, who was the lead writer for Fallout new vegas. I like killzone, but I feel like now is the perfect time to start fresh.
I'm curious where we'll get a new FPS from, since GG is moving from that.
Here come the guerrilla sucks comments in 3...2...1
Ridiculous, the amount of slander they get. Lol I love how alot of the guys know Japanese. Oh, and Angie teasing the new IP! Can't wait to see more from my fav studio
Uh oh....
I thought Julie Larson was actually doing fine, but I never thought Elop would have replaced her. Anyway it seems like her position Elop's has been aggressive in suggesting that he's consider spinning off the Xbox division . Very intriguing, but I doubt it's happening anytime soon. The investors may push for it 3-5 years when we see exactly how well Xbox One is doing. But this, it really puts in perspective, the direction the company is headed. More of a...

"The power of God" is my favorite. Dang, that one was brilliant. Acting, effects, etc was top notch
Whoops, sorry for the spelling errors, I wrote it from my phone
Another guerrilla games sucks article? Lol *sigh*
to me, it doesn't matter if shadow fall sold alot because of the lack of launch games ir not. Doesn't remove the face that, the numbers are there at the end of the day :D
Guerrilla Games has the leisure of
that some if Sony's other studios don't. The killzone franchise is a million seller, each iteration has been one. They're not in a state of disarray like Studio Japan was. Nor or they cl...
No. There's a wealth of multiplayer games already saturating the market. Even if some first party games are single player only, there's more than enough third party multiplayer games to satisfy consumers. Sony is partnering with several third parties, like Bungie to deliver great social gaming. I buy my Sony consoles for the narrative driven games first and foremost. If they happen to have a great multiplayer, then that's awesome, if not then it doesn't hurt me one iota. Plays...
1080p? How can one game, which is not a microsoft first party game and will probably be muliplat for its sequel, turn the tides of the console? There are way more problems for xbox one, than one game can make disappear. How is Titanfall using the power of xbox one? The whole game is also being ran on 360. Cmon bro....
This guy just joined an hour ago, and he's already posting this stuff? LOL
That's what I think too. He did say that the publisher he's in talks with, loves to experiment and take risks. That screams Sony lol
Agreed. I like what Rihanna said, that narrative driven games aren't going anywhere, but their scale may change". That's exactly what's happening now with games like The Division, Destiny, and Evolve. Being able to update your world without spending 100 million on a brand new sequel seems too compelling for a lot of Devs.
whether or not this move turns out successful, is yet to be seen...
Lol?
No. But the current model of big budget gaming is unsustainable. 80+ million budget games that don't sell to the publisher's expectations can lead to studio closures. Publishers are letting budgets soar out of control. You don't need 100 million, 200 million, etc to make a great game. But if we want gaming to evolve, I guess it was somewhat inevitable. It was inevitable that as technology improves, and the demand for smarter AI, bigger worlds, and greater visual fidelity increased...
I imagine not insane. Look at uncharted, Sony gives that game a nice, but manageable budget so the games' sales target is always reachable. That's what they do well, manage expectations. I believe uncharted 2 only had a budget of 20 million. Uncharted 3 was just a little more, but still within reach in case the game doesn't take off.
Why does anything with GG always turn into slander? Lmao, regardless of how polarizing their games turn out, they are always successful even if killzone is for a niche audience.
It's the same for Sucker Punch. They're on the cusp of AAA with GG, but need that extra "it"
This gives me hope :)
It seems like people are waking up to the toxic practices that's transformed AAA gaming. It's unsustainable in the long term, and maybe something like this will spark long discussions in the meeting rooms at big publishers.
Jak 1 was too repetitive. It was great in the golden age of platformers, but say what you want about 2&3 but they offered more gameplay depth.
