4.2 million has got EA scrambling to get more games on PS4.
Uh oh. This article is not going to go over very well lol
But it does make a little bit of sense, because everywhere I go there's xbox one's available but PS4 is outsold nationwide.
I think this is a great time for Guerrilla to let the franchise rest. The game might have had a mixed reception by the media, but sales wise it's a major success.
Can't wait to see what the new IP is, and I can't tell you how relieved I am that they finally brought in a story writer, which gives me hope that the narrative will be better in future games.
Shadow Fall at 1.2 million worldwide, nice.
It's a sports game, forza is a racing game. Those games are not particularly difficult to reach 1080p man.
They don't dave larger areas, sandboxes or open worlds. The console is only rendering the immediate area surrounding the players. Not CPU or GPU demanding. Crytek lowered resolution to put more WOW into the characters, more ploygons but notice how the immediate area around the action was blurred out.
The game looks pretty linear from the gameplay. There's only one alien, and not incredibly straining on the CPU to render more characters with complex animations. Survival Horror, meaning most of the time it's you down a dark alleyway.
Looks great from first impressions, but yea it's cross gen, so it shouldn't be hard to hit 1080p.
Sure, but when you call it a next gen FPS, it's held to a higher standard. I'm going to look specifically for what makes it different from current gen. Is it impossible on last gen hardware?
The engine isn't particularly impressive on a technical world building aspect, or on the visual side. Source Engine...
There are what looks like reused animations from earlier COD games.
I'm just getting the feeling that the power of Xbox One only allowed R...
Thanks dude!

Does this change your mind? Lots of live gameplay here, along with the goals of the Developers. They understand why the past aliens games failed. The IP itself is suppose to be about survival horror, that's what they want to push as the main attraction....
Destiny is not getting delayed again. The moon trailer stated that Bungie was aiming for a spring 2014 launch. The end result was that the game was pushed back when they announced a September release date. Bungie's explanation for the date also hints that they asked Activision for a delay. Bungie's pedigree and their deal with the publisher probably grants them any kind of time they need to polish the game.
It's great news that Activision does not own the Destiny...
It'll be good.
1. It's not another shoot fest with waves of aliens, who's only role is to become fodder.
2. Only one alien, so the tension of that encounter is very high each time
3. Survival horror, almost no weapons, and you must use the environment to hide and sneak past.
I never go into games saying a previous entry in the series killed any hype for the next game. That's doing a disservice to the Devs that put their soul in ...
So much Salt. This game is headed in the right direction, and you know how it's different from the other games?
No shootbang campaign or multiplayer. Survival horror with limited items to your disposal. There's only one alien, so that increases the tension of that encounter. Go watch the cpverage of the game and talks with the developer, they know what they are doing.
It's an FPS, not a cover based third person shooter. They are vastly different, so that excuse does not hold water.
Microsoft boasted about how much of an improvement xbox one is over 360. Then they bragged about cloud computing and how big of an advantage it would give their games. Essentially it's a medium/small arena game, with 12 players(6 human) and runs 720p native 60fps. Oh, but there's mechs! I guess the power of the xbox one allowed Respawn to include me...
"Titanfall uses the incredible power of Xbox One cloud"
Hahahahahaha
Hmm. I can do 5mb, with a LAN cable I can get almost 20mb to the PS4.
On Vita, its a different story, probably around 3-4mbs on Wi-Fi.
Lol
1. Live from playstation,
2. Sharing is easy and cool
3. Simplified UI. Basic, Easy, does the job it needs to. Doesn't need to be flashy, it gets you where you want to go.
4. Japan support.
5. First party studios. Outnumbers the competetion in critically acclaimed studios, with very strong second party ties.
It's financially riskier for them not to release on ps3/360. We've had next gen for a couple months with less than 5 million install base of each console, business wise is not smart. It's up to the developers to push the next gen consoles, just as we've seen a few games. hether or not they want to similar experience across platfroms, is their call.
So the power of Xbox one couldn't allow you to create bigger maps? What about that cloud power? Are you even using the tools that Xbox one has to your disposal?
Forgive me for being skeptical, but an easy solution would be a bigger world to run in.
