Microtransactions must be ONLY in free-to-play games, period.
And what do you mean, "They're not gambling"? You don't know the result, you placed a "bet" with real money/premium currency and system "spins the wheel" and tell you what you win (it might be low quality stuff you already have, it doesn't matter).
Imagine if you go to store, pay $10 for, let's say, good whiskey. Store clerk just spins the wheel and nah, toda...
While main story plot was a mess (all i remember from it - it had Coccoon, l'Cie, fal'Cie, crystals and a black guy with chocobo nest in this head (or hair)), gameplay was good enough. Side missions weren't that enjoyable. And that "Treasure Hunter" trophy was the worst thing about the game for me, i spent so many hours trying to find out what i was missing and then grinding to get it.
I'm curious, will they ever make something similar to Summoner? Or like Saints Row 2. Not a big fan of that new aliens/computer simulation Saints Row.
I think title is a little wrong. It's not about lack of grind in Destiny, it's about lack of worthy rewards for your grind, to keep you replaying the raids and stuff.
Why else you think they added loot boxes into the game? It's not for historical accuracy, that's for sure. And Ubisoft already tried adding microtransactions into Assassin's Creed with their Helix credits. Why else someone will add loot boxes into the game if not for option to buy them with real money?
I bet they'll even use the usual "It's for the players who want to save time and get the stuff faster" excuse.
So that's why they went with whole RPG-like weapons and gear, i was afraid they'll go that route. I guess they didn't learn from their failed Helix credits. Another "wait-till-GOTY-edition&q uot; game for me.
WHY recently companies ruin such great looking games with microtransactions?!
Just imagine, old grandma on a horse trying to catch up to a bounty. Or firing a shotgun and then flying off due to recoil.
I want to play as old grandma now!
No surprise, let's not forget how Blizzard celebrated 20 years of Diablo franchise, with new Necromancer class and limited time event.

Yes, it was wrong for them to add MT, i'm not defending anyone for adding microtransactions to their games. If they want more money to support multiplayer, they should've released multiplayer only DLCs. The only games i can accept adding microtransactions are free-to-play games, like "Heroes of the Storm" or "Warframe".
All i said is that if you think you not buying them means it's ok or it doesn't ruin your experi...
IMO, problem is not YOU not buying it (or even 99% of people not buying them). The problem is the 1% which will buy this shit (because there always be idiots who buy it, to speed things up, to open boxes on stream and so on).
People for some reason think that not buying MT will show the publisher it's wrong to put them in. But for them, MT is like icing on the cake. They already got all the money back from development with normal sales and MT is just extra money to spen...
So, if in 20 years all children will be genderless, does that mean that humanity will cease to exist?
To be fair, you can use fake name on Facebook, nothing is forcing you to use your real name. And you can register ton of accounts if you REALLY want that. And as Gh05t pointed out, it will actually lead to a major backlash for people who don't abuse the system, when either trolls or SJW (or both) will start attacking the person they don't agree with for any reason (or just for lols).
Imagine, you didn't like the Undertale (or Five Nights at Freddy's or any other game ...
But there's still 3 more month in this year, how can they give award this early?
New Mario is coming out in almost a month. And also other possibly great games, like:

- Assassin's Creed Origins;
- Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus;

and others.

a. Why shouldn't gamers dismiss the game, when publisher and developer dismissed it already?
b. Why should anyone defend the "messy" games? And not "Deadly Premonition" messy, but messy messy.
Can't wait for comments like "Hey, it's just cosmetic!", "But you can get everything FOR FREE!"
They got:
- Player attributes for "Virtual Currency". Why this is bad? Well, the whole idea of singleplayer campaign is to get to level 99. You start with 6000 VC and level 60. Those 6000 VC is enough to get your player to level 62. In order to get to level 82, you'll need to play around ~240-360 games (depends on rating, taken f...
a. By 2022, there might already be released PS5 and Xbox.. Two? Zero?
b. By 2022, Nintendo might release new console
c. Nintendo Switch, so far, had slower start than PS4
d. 130 million is too big number. I mean, Nintendo Wii, for 10 years, sold 101 million.
My little brother gave better predictions than this "market analyst".
"For gamers who have been waiting patiently for the single player campaign and upcoming DLC news, this developer post is for you."
And yet there is still no news about single player campaign in this post, just something about single player "challenges", disappointing.
Hey, if this will be a good game, i will definitely try it out!
But when developer firstly says that their game is for certain group, for me it's a big red flag, because that means they're have nothing to say about gameplay, plot, graphics and so on, which is much more important aspects of the game, IMO.
